I have the first issue of this camera and really like it so when edition V came out, I decided to update my equipment. I was headed off to Africa on a photo safari and decided I didn't want to take any chance of missing the perfect photo. I bought the camera ahead of time (along with the 100-400 zoom) and was very pleased with all of the shots I got. Many of which the others on the trip were not able to get with their cameras. I would suggest that even if you have an earlier model that you give yourself an extra month or so to play with this one. It has several extra bells and whistles on it that you will want to be able to find on the fly, so you don't miss that one chance photo. ... show more
