  • Solid value - really a delight to own this
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
Love the quality, image clarity and flexibility to get all kinds of lenses/accessories. It is not too delicate, as I dropped it and sent it in for repair. I am glad I bought an extended warranty. I use mine every day, and am a convert from another brand that all appraisers use except for me.

  • Great camera
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
Im in love with the camera and I haven’t even learned every in and out yet. It’s an exceptional beginner camera and I’m excited to start my career with it. It comes with a strap, lens, lens cover, battery, and battery charger. I’ve only had to charge the battery once so far and I’ve had the camera for about a week and have used it almost everyday. The image quality is better than I expected. The only things I have trouble with are the zoom and night quality which can be solved with another lens and a tripod! ... show more

  • Highly recommend this camera, but also would suggest a telephone lens with it.
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
Extremely nice camera for the price point. I am an experienced photographer using a manual camera and this is my first DSLR camera. The instructions inside the box were not very helpful, but I did find YouTube instructions on how to set up the camera and it was fairly easy from that. I would recommend getting a telephoto lens when purchasing this camera as the 55 mm lens though adequate is not the best for what I like to use the camera for. I already had a camera bag and have it for carrying this camera for protection and will be looking for a Telephoto lens to go with this camera in the near future. ... show more

  • Solid Entry Level DSLR
Style: Body w/18-55mm & 75-300mm Lenses
I've done semi-professional photography for over 10 years now. This is a solid camera for taking product shots with a controlled light source, or a step up from your mobile camera. i was looking for decent camera to take with me to shoot events and family gatherings and my old NIKON was over 10 years old. Pros: Weight: Super Light camera. Doesn't feel like a terrible weight to carry around on your neck. This is important if you carry around on vacation or to family events. Value: The two lens deal offered on black Friday was well worth it - TheEF 75-300mm Lens sells for at least $200 by itself. Easy to Use: The EOS Rebel is a solid camera with lots of abilities and the menus are really easy to use. Cons: WIFI: The Wifi settings are clunky. I don't need to attach to a mobile phone -- a computer would be a better choice IMHO. Cheap Button: Canon has never upgraded the stupid small plastic button to extract the SD cards and battery. Years ago I had to use a tweezer after breaking this off for another Rebel. Overall: I've got a speedlight on order -- I think if you want to get decent shots indoors without using a controlled studio lighting, you'll need additional flash power. Outside, the clarity of the photos using Auto Focus on a wriggly dog is fantastic. ... show more

I think this camera is great for the price! I enjoy that it has the two lenses and the carrying bag. It’s fairly easy to learn and the WiFi upload of photos to your phone is phenomenal!

Good camera overall for getting into photography beyond phone cameras. It came highly recommended by friends in the industry and we are looking forward to using it more in the future.

  • Amazing Beginner DSLR Camera
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
I'd like to recommend this entry-level DSLR camera to all users who haven't bought a camera yet. I initially came across it during a digital photography class where it was provided, and subsequently, I purchased it myself! It's incredibly easy to operate and handle, and now I use it as my primary tool for commercial photography. The results are exceptionally clear in well-lit areas. There can be some difficulties when shooting at night without flash, but the photos still turn out great after post-processing! The following photo was taken using the M mode, and it offers a great user experience. The battery life is also impressive. When I'm just taking photos and not recording videos, I can shoot for three to four hours straight without the battery level dropping significantly. However, video recording consumes more battery. Additionally, this camera is highly versatile, producing excellent results in portrait and landscape photography, and is also ideal for street photography. ... show more
