I had bought a couple of more expensive coupe glasses to drink prosecco out of (rather than tall flutes) a few years ago and they are lovely, but a little hard to handle and very fragile. These are easier to drink out of since the sides are a bit taller and have a bit more of a lip - but still make you feel fancy and remind me of a Gatsby style glass. Less spilling! They are also very durable - of course they are fragile, but they are not as thin as my other glasses. I bought a set of these about 3 years ago and love them, so I just gave a set as a gift. These are excellent, thin rim, lead free glasses. Prosecco is not as 'bubbly' as Champagne so it doesn't need a glass flute. I chill the glasses before pouring. Use a champagne stopper to cap the bottle after it's opened and the Prosecco stays bubbly for days! The name is engraved on the base of the stem. Arrives just as pictured. Beautiful glasses but very fragile. One of the 4 in my set arrived chipped. I requested a replacement set and 2 of 4 were chipped from that set. I was able to collect 4 good ones from the two sets but expect they may not wear well with use.

I've had some huge oversized martini glasses for awhile and never really liked them, they are way too big even if I'm making a cocktail a double and awkward to hold. These really spruce up cocktails served up and are much more in style while still having a retro appeal. They are weighted well and the thin rim/bowl feels a lot better to drink out of than the thicker rims on some of the cheaper glasses. ... show more

Nice shape, fair capacity, but they are super fragile. I bumped one against the rubber coated tines in the dishwasher quite lightly, and it shattered. Went with Reidel and tossed the other three of these.
