This unit is solid and hold just the right amount of waste and recyclables to eliminate smells from trash sitting too long in the house as with bigger bins. This looks great, takes up minimum space, and pops-up easily. Time will tell on the pedals for the pop-ups, but so far, no issues with these. They are close together, so I sometimes press the wrong one (more me than the product)! A 10 or 13 Gallon bag is just the right size for these. The material is not too thin and so far no dents. This is a great garbage can. The motion sensor works as described and it's QUIET! The last one I ordered was so loud it scared my cat. I returned that one and order this and I'm very happy. I also like the shape - my 13 gallon bag fits really well and doesn't get bunched up at the bottom. The insert at the top cracked and had to be thrown away, but it has not affected the can.
