  • Solo windscreen for Solo Stove
This folds into a very compact package. Each panel flip-flops to make a thin, flat board for storage. The end panels have longish pins that extend down about 2" so you can anchor this into the ground. There is also a nice fabric bag to hold and protect it. I'll admit I was hesitant to order this as it seems that it should be easy to duplicate it with something you could find. But I decided to go ahead on the theory that if it were needed it would be easier to use as it was made to work with my Solo stove. Because it is made of aluminum, it's not quite as sturdy as the other solo products, but it is still a quality product and should function well as designed. ... show more

  • Great product!!! I'm Happy!
Size: Windscreen
Excellent product. I've owned a solo stove for a long time now. It works awesome and is lightweight. I purchased a pocket bellows and that really gets the stove started on damp days. This windscreen was bigger than I was expecting and is also very light weight. Comes in a case and keeps out the wind making it even easier to start and use this stove. I can't wait to really test it on my next camping trip! I highly reccomend this product! Works very well and your fuel is all around you for free! ... show more

  • Pretty Good Wind Screen
Size: Windscreen
A good wind screen. But it could hold you back with the Solo Stove Titan. The Solo Stove, although good, is narrow and this wind screen could frustrate you if you close it in too close. If the wind is absolutely directional (from one direction only), you'd probably have no problem. But if the wind is all over the place, you are going to have this screen in close and that could get on your nerves. But it is a good, sturdy product and on the average it should work out for you just fine. It's better to have one on hand than to be without, and I'd rather have this with me for sure. ... show more

  • Great quality
Size: Windscreen
I use this stove when I go on a road trip to make my coffee. It is very compact and the material is high quality. This is the second solo stove I own. I would highly recommend it!

  • I give this a big thumbs up, works great!
I used this on a windy day/night with my MSR Windpro II stove - it is nice and tall and blocked pretty much all the wind from my stove, the flame didn't get blown around at all. Overall I'd have to say that this is a really nice windscreen, well designed and very functional. I'll happily use this with any of my alcohol stoves which are more susceptible to wind and will benefit greatly by having a good effective wind screen. This screen is very easy to wrap more tightly around a small pot or to spread in a big semi-circle for a large fry pan. Folded up and in its own bag it is pretty easy to fit in with my gear and doesn't take up all that much space. Definitely earns a 5/5 from me! ... show more

  • Could be great, but…
Size: Windscreen
The product is smaller and lighter than what you’d think, which isn’t necessarily bad, but it will only shield ultra light equipment such as hiking stoves. It came to me in a plastic envelope and no padding. The lightweight aluminum was bent/ deformed. While still functional, it’s a shame to order something and not damage it yourself. I would expect that putting it in a backpack or similar kit would easily damage this more. ... show more

  • Works well, never had it fall over during use.
Size: Windscreen
Works exactly like it should, and seems to stand up just fine on its own. I strongly suggest you have a windscreen to go with your stove. They make a huge difference when it comes to getting the most out of your fuel and saving time. This one has held up very well to being carried in my bag on frequent trips, no dents or bent connecting rods. I have seen some very similar looking screens that cost less, and would be willing to give those a try. ... show more

  • Sturdy & Slightly Hefty
The hinge pins are a stiff piece of wire with a crook at the top and run the length of the screen. They slide up and down real easy right now (being new), which will allow for disassembly or panel removal, etc. if desired. However, they will slide below the panels when handling, but create no problem when put in the pouch (at least as long as the pouch stays intact-I do think the those wires will eventually work through the cloth pouch and then the wire hinges will be vulnerable when sticking out the bottom-I reckon I might pad the bottom of the pouch). It is sturdier than expected and therefore heavier, which I like. I was worried of bending and binding, etc., but that should not be likely with a little TLC and when folded it makes a nice solid block of aluminum and less vulnerable to deformation. The height is what I would consider adequate, yet not too long to add weight needlessly. It fits nicely around the Solo stove I bought with it. It makes a good combo. ... show more
