This low profile fan is easy to install. It is surprisingly quiet (virtually no wobble with no adjusting) and it looks really stylish. Convenient 3-way color on the lamp and more than enough fan force for any room ( speed 6 ) will blow you out of the room! I usually use speed 1, which I wish was a little slower. You can also change the direction of the fan to use for all seasons. Customer service is excellent. One of the Sofucor fans I purchased previously had a minor issue. After turning off the light, it continued to glow slightly afterward. I contacted customer service and they immediately sent me out a kit that solved the issue. The media could not be loaded. We love these fans and decided the quiet outweighs not using my 2nd light wall switch. We have a new house and the fans installed in upstairs bedrooms made a motor hum. We also had 2 Sofucor (without light) fans installed in den and master bedroom and after changing out the first motor on each, both of those fans, are quiet and put out great air. We decided to change out the 3 upstairs bedroom (motor hum by another company) fans with Sofucor. 2 out of 3 had a defective or missing part and we emailed Sofucor to have it shipped. We installed each fan and very quiet and put out great air flow. Pros: great customer service to make right what is wrong, very light fans, very quiet dc motor and stylish with great air flow. If turn on at wall switch the light will turn on to last setting. Cons: fan is really to be used with remote. I have 2 wall switches (1 light, 1 fan) and only use the fan switch and rest is done by remote. When turn on wall switch the fan does not turn on to last setting like the light. You have to turn the fan on. Overall a very nice fan and now we have 5 in our house. 2 without light and 3 with light. I would recommend and know you may have to reach out to customer service and they will respond. ... show more

The blades are made of wood as advertised (unlike one I had to return bc the blades were made out of plastic), the blades weigh about 1.5-2 lbs each- not too light or heavy. I like the fan and the style. I think it was 5 that I purchased. I’m a contractor and used them so they all matched and it was nice there were 2 sizes to choose from. Only complaint was 2 of the fans were missing the ball mount used to install the fan and the pin to secure the ball. Luckily I found a part at the local store and figured it out. The driving around and delays cost me more than the fans cost so any Amazon savings were lost. It was my choice to fix them instead of sending them back so I think I made the right choice. I will say amazons return procedures are very good and easy to use. I will most likely use a different provider next time. In this day and age 3 out of 5 good ones is not very good ... show more

What do I like? I like the REAL WOOD blades! I like the appearance of the modern light fixture. The ceiling fan operates smoothly and didn't require use of weights to balance the blades. When I opened the package one of the three wood blades was split, but Sofucor immediately corrected the problem. Things happen at times and what is important is how problems are handled. Sofucor was responsive. Sofucor's ceiling fan has real wood blades, looks nice, operates quietly, has multiple speeds (6), and is available at an affordable price! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Update to original review: modifying my rating to 5 stars. Sofucor's customer service responded to my inquiry and ultimately did everything possible to resolve the issue. They not only updated the product description, but also sent me another fan closer to what I was looking for at no cost, and even refunded a portion of my installation costs for the original defective fan. The new fan is beautiful, works perfectly and although it's too cold now to need it to blow cool air, all tests indicate it'll do the job very well when necessary. Highly recommended company and great product. I purchased this 48-inch fan a few weeks ago to replace the ancient one that was installed by the previous owners of a home I just purchased. Had it installed by an experienced and licensed electrician, which was necessary because the previous fan’s junction box wasn’t attached to a ceiling joist. The positives are that it’s quite attractive, very silent and the fan moves air very well. The negatives are that shortly after every time I turn it on, the light flickers for about 15-20 seconds (as shown in the video). I also received a remote that doesn’t have a dimmer function (see photo), so I’m fairly sure I was sent the wrong remote. To top it off, the user manual I received was for a 52-inch fan, even though I purchased a 48-inch version of the product. Clearly I was sent a used product that wasn’t repackaged correctly and had defects. Contacted Amazon customer service via chat earlier this evening but still have yet to get any response from the seller. Hopefully if they’re reading this they’ll contact me and send a replacement. Even with a replacement, I’ll still be out the $$ spent on the electrician. Definitely not one of my more positive Amazon experiences. ... show more
