The installation was very straightforward. The doors glide beautifully. About a week after installation the behind door was not in place at the bottom. I thought the pin that it glides on had broken. I was given a refund of the price of the door kit. I was able to repair it with JB Weld and it works perfectly again. It’s important to make sure the pin is tightened firmly in place before screwing the plate to the floor. I am very pleased with the look of this door glide kit. ... show more

We are have a very large 8 ft wide closet opening, so we bought the 9 ft track. We made our own 54” doors to mount. It looks great now that it’s all completed! I also attached a photo of where the two pieces of track join since no one else has shared that. Unlike other tracks, this one allows you to put a screw directly in the center of the track (super helpful depending on where your studs are!). We custom built the header, since the closet was floor to ceiling doors - so having the track come together in the center worked perfectly for our measurements. As heavy as two 54” doors are - I would STRONGLY suggest you install this track into studs. Just give yourself the piece of mind and do it! I can almost guarantee it will not hold up well with the plastic anchors if not attached to at least 4/7 studs. This is if you have a large opening like me and want to sleep better at night not worrying if your track is going to tumble under the weight! ... show more

Instructions were somewhat difficult to follow, even for an experienced installer. Quality it good but if you get this as a kit, you may want to clamp the door hardware on the door first. We followed the instructions and the door didn't quite touch the edges of the opening and didn't line up in the middle, so the pattern was off as well. We had to move the hardware on one door so there was no opening, this having to drill a second time and now need to fill the first holes. Also, you may need to install the bumpers past the end mounting bolts, put those on first before mounting the the wall. The door rolls smoothly on the tracks and looks like it is very durable. Pretty easy straight forward install. The directions are more of a reference than a help My opening is a little less than six feet I wish I had ordered a little longer track so there was more overlap. Three more inches on each side would have been perfect

    • MEASURE and MEASURE AGAIN!
Size: 6.6 Feet
Pro: relatively easy to install, solid hardware, good design Con: instructions down to 1/16" measurement are tedious and difficult to execute. I'm a handy guy so no stranger to this type of work: I used the 6.5' rail for a 70" opening w/2.5" molding. I used 2 40" wide doors. I measured everything multiple times ensure the result would be as desired. The only 'failure'...the H+1 11/16" for center line of the rail bolts. After all was said and done, the doors just barely drag on the floor (like from weight) but in no way are the 3/8" off the floor. So obviously no way to install the Floor Guide. Other than that...a good set of hardware. ... show more

We are unable to install the door stoppers because of these pieces at the end of both bars. The manual doesn't even show these in it and I'm not sure what the point of it is other than causing our kit to be useless! We got everything up then realized once we got to the step of installing the door stoppers. ... show more
