Here’s what is great about this…it is the perfect amount of pressure and support. No wrapping and getting it wrong, as in an ace bandage where you end up putting it on too tight and your toes turn purple! Plus, with a little adjustment to your shoes, this will allow you to wear your fav sneakers or sandals. I really doubted this but not after I wore it and discovered the ease to put on, comfort and support I have (for a trip to the ER that turned out to be a bad sprain from a tumble I took rotating my foot under the full weight of my body). My husband found this for me on Amazon. I wasn’t a believer until I realized I could fit it in my sneakers and in my sandals (had to loosen straps and ties) and then discovered how supportive and comfortable this is unlike an ace bandage! Of course, it’s pink so that makes it all the better- comes in a multitude of colors!! We have since purchased them for a friend with a collapsed ankle who now sings its praises, my brother with planta fasciitis, and a girlfriend who chronically turns her ankle and needs support. All could not be happier and appreciative of the relief. I was able to wear just the sock portion to bed at night which helped me a lot in the early stages of healing. There are no sizes- one size fits all. Our friend is 6’3” and approx 250 lbs. I am 5’2” 115 lbs, It fit him and me perfectly…much to his and our joy. I don’t know how this can be possible, but it is. I work as a nurse and worked the four days before I was spending a week in Disney and Universal when my plantar fasciitis decided to flare up-- this brace was a life saver. I wore it the entire time at Disney and Universal and my foot did not bother me at all. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is I have a large foot (womens 11) and the compression sleeve would partially cut off circulation when I was sitting and make my foot feel a little funny, so I do wish it wasn't a one size fits all for the sleeve. Other than that, the brace was great for days with 20,000+ steps. Highly recommend! Also, it is machine washable, I put it in the washer and dryer after getting stormed on and no damage to the brace. ... show more

I was incredibly skeptical buying this item as I've lived with plantar fasciitis for over a year now and was doubtful of anything that could help relieve the pain, temporarily. (First on the right foot, which has finally healed, and now on the left foot, which has just developed.) I was shocked upon putting this on that my foot was more stable, there was a nice amount of cushion, and my pain was minimized. Happy to wear this over my sock and inside my shoe, with no one being the wiser. I will say that the tube is small. I'm usually a medium size sock and I found the diameter of the compression tube at its maximum size. It's just the right right enough fit for my needs, but I think this might be too small for a bigger foot. Overall, highly recommend. I'm thinking of getting a second one so that'll I'll always have a clean one while the other is in the wash. ... show more

I have a bad ankle and have sprained it all my life worsened by a genetic issue with loose ligaments. 2 weeks ago I sprained it again badly and broke a couple bones in my big toe. I've taken off the big black ortho boot that the dr put on but still need something to keep my ankle stable. In the past, using the beige color, less expensive, stretchy ankle supports sort of helped but just not enough. This one feels nice and soft but thicker, yet not too tight at all. It's very comfortable. I put my sock over it fine. I've worn it all night as well as during the day, taking it off every 3-4 hours to rest my foot. The part I really like is that we can control how tight or loose the support is by wrapping the separate, stretchy band around and fastening it closed with the velcro end. (You might find this helpful: Lay the strap left to right, flat on the floor with the velcro scratchy end facing down. Place your foot onto the center of the strap. Take both ends and lift up, cross them over the top of your foot, adjusting for the correct angle-see picture-then place the ends around the sides of, then behind your ankle tofasten. Lay the scratchy end of the velcro on top of the soft end. Tighten or loosen to suit your need.) You can wear the support with or without the wraparound band but for me, it feels much better with it on. I can still bend my ankle if I need to but when standing, it's not going to roll over. It costs more than the average ankle slip-on bandage, but it's totally worth it. ... show more

It works the same as a classic elastic bandage wrap, but takes a fraction of the time to put on and is the same every time. It fits nicely under my foot too, instead of having a big bulge under there. The only flaw is it's not very adjustable. You have to velcro it in the same place every time, so you can't pull it tight and crank it down. It's a medium-strength hold or nothing. The teal color is nice too. ... show more
