This is great for mine ankle pain or instability. Its very comfortable and easy to slip on. I am 5'1 and 124lbs and I bought a small and it fits nice and snug. The only things that I can say is that the velcro on elastic strap isn't that great, its better than most but it's also pretty bulky. The bottom edge of the brace is pretty thick so if your flat footed like me, you may find that part uncomfortable.But I don't find it a problem unless im on my feet for long periods or when I'm running. It comes in two pieces which was not something I had anticipated - the foot sleeve and another piece which wraps under the foot and around the ankle. The straps provide excellent support for my ankles. I have not rolled my ankles once since wearing these on my long trail runs. They are easy to apply. I gave this a 4-star as they can be uncomfortable in the arches of the feet for the first 20-30 minutes of use

I bought the lavender one because i love that color! The sleeve works great it does its job. I sprained my ankle and had to use a boot then a brace then this sleeve. And it helps so much when walking, my foot doesn’t feel like i’m going to twist it again. It’s great for that extra feel of support and it helps with the swelling. I’ve had plantar fasciitis with heel spurs for 35 years. I’ve had wraps, inserts, braces etc. this is the best fitting & supportive ankle support for me! Tendinitis with plantar fasciitis starting acting up really bad 1 week before I had to go to a conference. I ordered my sheave star ankle support & love it! Since the minute I put it in. I usually use the included strap for extra support. My foot feels so much better only 2 1/2 weeks later- Were my ankle support every day and will Until the tendinitis is completely settled down. I have to wear a brace every day now. I have been using a different brand, but decided to try these because they were on sale. Overall the brace is very nice. It is comfortable and provides good support. The main thing I don't like about it is that the strap is not attached to the sock part. This is a minor inconvenience, but a deal breaker for me.
