Ready to use right out of the 2 heavy boxes that the manufacturer supplies - should have not requested the product to be double boxed from Amazon now that i wound up having to throw away 3 boxes instead of 2. However, the print describing the function beside each LED could be somewhat bigger than it is now. I ordered this to get my legs moving while watching TV. It is a quality product, works as described, and simple to understand the instructions. There was no assembly required, which is a big plus! I was able to take it out of the box, read the booklet, and start peddling! It also fits under a small table in my living room, a bonus for storage. This product is heavy. I thought this product would fit under my under table......it doesn't. I don't think the measurements are accurate because that was my main concern..... I measured the area. Another issue is that, although I've read the directions, I can't figure out how to change the direction. The direction pre-determined is wrong...I'm going backwards. I can't return it because to actually place it back in my car and lug it would be too much........I couldn't do it. As it is, I had someone put in my car and carry it to my home.
