I like to work, and sometimes browse, from my recliner. I've had a pneumatic monitor arm mounted to my side table for about 7 years, but the design prevented me from viewing the monitor mostly head-on; unless, of course, it was 5" from my face...not recommended. With this set up, I can put it directly in front of me, with a good 20" between it and my eyes. I should point out that I almost returned it the minute I opened it. The screws for the swivel/rotate portions were SO tight, I thought they were locked somehow. But, once I ate my Wheaties, and tried again, I was very pleasantly surprised by the range and sturdiness of the set up. When I want to watch my big screen TV, I simply move my 27" monitor out of the way with ease. Worth every penny spent! ... show more

This is regarding “Single Long Monitor Stand, 13 to 32 inch Computer Monitor Desk Mount, Extra Long Adjustable Monitor Arm”… My desk is actually an installed countertop 32” deep from the wall and I need the extra long arm of this stand. I assumed I was going to mount it to the wall somehow because the website pics all show back edge of desk mounting. But then I saw in the instructions that using a grommet hole was an option! I had a 2” grommet hole in the perfect location so I removed the plastic grommet insert and the monitor stand fit great! And the best part is there was still enough room to pass the power cord through to the under counter power strip. Couldn’t be happier with the product at this point and am ordering up a bunch more for the future multi monitor setup. Also is really nice how the pole cable retention clip includes holder for the included hex wrenches which you can see in one of my pics. Very well thought out product at a great price! ... show more

I really like this and it fits my needs. I work from home in my bedroom and needed longer arms to extend my screens closer to me so I could see better and not have to have my screen on 175%. These did the trick (now I only need the screens at 125%) but it is a little wobbly despite being perfectly fitted with the clamp. My monitors are only 10 lbs and I think the higher you lift the stand to raise the screens the more wobbly it is, so be careful. I ended up having to place folded cardboard under the front legs on the console table I have it clamped to so it wouldn't be as wobbly, but not it's kinda lifted in the front which looks kinda dumb but whatever, it works! It was easy enough to put together, just follow instructions and make sure you have all the pieces the guide says you should have before you start. Price is decent for what you get, the item is heavy duty and I'm not worried about it not being able to withstand the movements. ... show more

    • Bolt in the rotating arms came far too tight - makes adjustments a battle

Maybe I got a lemon, but my stands arm is nearly impossible to adjust. I got the 15.7" pole single monitor stand and the bolts in the first joint by the pole would not and will not move at all. In order to assemble and adjust the stand I had to stand on the arm on the ground and pull one side up. after a few dozen adjustments like that it's now a little looser but there's no way I will be able to adjust it like I wanted to or loosen the bolt at all. My use case involves a lot of moving of my monitor so I'm really regretting not going with a gas spring stand. That said, the monitor extends farther than I thought it would, and it seems sturdy even when it's extended far outwards - but my anxiety of not trusting the bolts in general is certainly impacting my opinion. ... show more

It's relatively easy to assemble, and it holds my monitor pretty well. Biggest downside is the screws for the swing arm. They are FAR too tight, and I cannot adjust them. I have to use all of my strength to swivel the arms around. Changing to a 1 star review. Ended up tipping my desk over because of how unreasonably stiff this thing is. Don't buy it. This is a very sturdy and high quality monitor stand. I've mounted it at the rear of my desk, attached my 32" computer monitor to it and I like that I can tilt, swivel and raise or lower the monitor to my needs. I highly recommend this monitor stand.

Edit: seller reached out to me after seeing my review and offered me a refund. I appreciate the quick and effective customer support. Maybe consider other products from the seller. —— Original review: I wish I could return the product, but it was passed the return deadline. I uninstalled from my desk because the pole was leaning. The screws provided do not fit properly into my monitor, it's like more than 50% exposed and my monitor hangs. The parts are put together like legos, but legos maybe have more security in the connections. ... show more
