If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I just wouldn't believe it!! Our MaxStar quit and Miller couldn't repair it. We needed a little machine for various 10 minute SS tig repairs, mostly restaurant equipment. We tested this 140N in the shop this morning and it laid down some excellent stringers. 3/32 7018 on ( on a 50ft 12ga extention cord as well!) 120vac and it actually ran smooth 1/8 & 5/32 !! 7018 on 220vac. Now we just got it, so only time will tell the tale. But initially we are blown away at the capability of this $130 machine!! ... show more

2023-03-14 While I was originally very disappointed in receiving an obviously used/returned unit Simder Customer Service promptly reached out to resolve this issue to my satisfaction in a professional and responsive way. Having received excellent customer service from Simder I can confidently say the company stands behind it's products and should one encounter an issue there's a good chance you will be well looked after. While the Wx has not permitted using the unit yet I'll be updating this review once I do... Original Review: 2023-02-27 Received the Welder in an obviously already opened box with multiple re-taping on it. Welder leads clearly used, scuffed up and even some kind of paint on it. Digital read-out screen is all scuffed and scratched. Welder box scratched. Clearly Used/Damaged product is being sold as new as other reviewer are saying. Would definitely NOT recommend purchasing. ... show more

Very easy to use .works in 110 or 220. No problem. I started off with the 110 plugged into my garage and was able to run 7018 3/32nd rod no problem but I blew a breaker cuz I was only a 15 amp breaker. So I added a 220 circuit breaker with 30 amp in my panel and just ran a cord outside I am running 3/32 7018 and 3/32 6013 welding on schedule 40 steel pipe no problem at the half the power this little machine is great I love it ... show more

Compre este soldador. Desia que pesaba 11 libras y en realidad solo pesa 6 libras el manual llegó sucio. Y los cables también creo que me dieron un soldador de devolucio. Para soldar se pega mucho. . Y es muy difícil de arrancar. Creo boy a devolver. Este producto. Tiene un peso tan ligero que su calidad queda debiendo. Me fuera gustado comprar un soldador más fino. Que en su peso se supiera que tiene buenos elementos. . A mí parecer este soldador no es muy bueno hay mejores .está marca tiene unos más buenos pero venden este producto como bue o y no lo es. Boy a devolver ested producto. O toca esperar. La empresa que me soluciona si tiene algo mejor vivo en Colombia y acá por el precio consigo soldadores mejores al mismo precio y con garantía . Compre este porque tenía tecnología pero para iniciar la soldadura se pega mucho. No me gusta. ... show more
