only one of the two and a half pound weights must have had a little crack and somebody repaired it glue or something and sent it to me which is fine because it's only a two and a half pound weight so But the rest of the weights from the 35 lb pack are beautiful I like the way they look

I was worried from previous reviews that I would get plates with “mold” on the rubber. Fortunately, mine are all fine. A couple of them look scuffed up, but in general they are completely fine, and I’m happy with them. There is a rubber smell but not like I will pass out from them. The weights said ships within 2-3 days, however I ordered 3 different types and this one shipped first… about 2 weeks later! The others (another set of 45 and a set of 25) still haven’t shipped… About the weights - the finish is good, has small chips on edges before even using them, but for the price I think it’s acceptable quality. The styling is nice with the two grip handles. The lettering was already faded in one spot upon arrival. A simple paint pen would fix that if I cared to do not a big deal there. Nothing better than rubber plates. Handle better, look better. These were a great price, less than a dollar per pound. Checked the weights on the scale, they were accurate. Only complaint was that the rubber smell was stronger than anticipated, resembled the mats I got from tractor supply. Fits Olympic barbells, grip is smooth for on and off. ... show more

Ordered what I thought was a full set of weights plus barbell on prime day. Multiple pictures in the listing I had selected showing “what you get” - pairs of 45, 35, 25, 10, 5, 2.5 plus the bar. Didn’t pay much attention to the listing picture changing once order was submitted since it needed splitting to ship. Received the plates quickly, but realize now that the original listing pictures did not represent what was being purchased. Obviously my mistake for not reading the weight description, but giving 3 stars for being incredibly misleading with sloppy work. Not the best craftsmanship where painting is concerned and were clearly put into the shipping bags with tacky paint. Some weights have chipping as well, but nothing major. None were under weight, but all were slightly over weight by as much as a pound. Nothing terrible considering price point and will still get the job done. ... show more
