Signature Fitness is an interesting company. They offer very good prices, but you should understand that you are gambling a bit when you order from them. Let me explain... At the same time that I ordered this colored bumper plate set, I also ordered a power cage from Signature Fitness. It shipped without any hardware (no bolts, no nuts, no washers, etc.). Amazon made it right, but that was a headache for me. Fortunately, all of my weights arrived in great shape. I was not missing any weights, and the condition was quite good. This is despite the fact that they were shipped in what I can best characterize as slightly-thicker-than-pizza-boxes cardboard. But nevertheless, they were undamaged, and I got every plate that was ordered! Hooray!! Honestly, the weights are BEAUTIFUL. I use them 3x per week for a variety of lifts (squats, bench press, deadlift, etc.). I have no issues with these weights, and they were a tremendous value compared to other companies selling them for twice as much. I will also add: I am very glad I switched from my old cast iron weights to bumper plates. Colored bumper plates are INFINITELY better! I can do deadlifts without worrying about damaging my floor or the weights. If I could get the same experience as last time, I would 100% order these weights again. Bought 260lbs set, not disappointed at all. Amazing deal at $1 per pound. The weights looks good and are well constructed. Many reviews mention a smell, and I agree there is one. Its mostly faded after a week but the rubber does have an odor. It's not a deal breaker, especially in a basement or garage, but don't be surprised. The rubber coating is nice otherwise. The plates themselves are thick. I think it's pretty standard but these aren't thin steel plates. The thickness may limit the amount of weight you can load on your mounts. As an example, my cable system can only fit about 220 of the 260. Smaller home machines might struggle to load adequate weight, depending on your strength and experience. ... show more

The accuracy of these weights are off as they came in at 54lb each. I would be fine if it was within .5lb but 1lb off is too much. The delivery also took more than a week. The packaging was completely destroyed upon arrival and the bags had a weird yellow coating that smelled bad. Also, weights came damaged looks like it was used. Overall a poor experience.
