    • Fits FN502 But Bad Brightness Adjustment
Inexpensive, decent Red Dot that mounts successfully on the FN502. However, they really failed on placement of the brightness adjustment. Design flaw in my opinion as it is placed inside the rear housing where it's difficult to reach unless you have 10 year old size fingers. My adult fat fingers find difficult to press. ... show more

    • Quality Sight
I have been a Gunsmith for 44 years and have mounted more RMR type sights than I can remember. The Sig ROMEOzero was very straight forward in its mounting. It was mounted on a Glock 27, .40 S&W utilizing a dovetail mounting plate. The majority of these sights are metal but the ROMEOzero is a polymer housing. This particular mounting was for my personal EDC firearm and I can honestly say I have mounted more different brands than I can remember. I chose the Sig because I wanted a sight that was small but still presented an excellent sight picture. The instructions from Sig were well written and would serve a shooter who has never mounted this type of sight. Of note and great importance is the warning of not to over tighten he mounting screws because it could deform the polymer and cause the sight to malfunction. My first observations were the automatic waking of the sight with the slightest movement. Yes, this is going to cause the sight to be on with the daily movements but off whenever the firearm is still. The presentation of the red dot is very impressive when bringing the firearm up to the shooting position. I found that I needed to bring the intensity of the red dot down to mid level of brightness. Doing so gave excellent presentation in bright sunlight as well as total darkness. I urge the shooter to experiment with this to find what works best for them. Range time revealed the need for sight adjustment. Shooting at a 7 yard distance I fount he elevation to be perfect but I did need to adjust windage to the right. The adjustment screws are well defined with arrows indicating direction of travel. They are also pronounced with a solid felt click for each moment of travel. After adjustments over 50 rounds were fired with the sight holding perfectly. All screws were checked for problems and none found. I am also an NRA pistol instructor and Training Counselor and would urge anyone to consider this sight or one like it for defensive shooting. It gives the shooter faster sight acquisition and far better grouping than standard “iron sights”. Lastly I paid for this and have not been compensated in any way. Be SAFE…..Shoot WELL ... show more

    • I love it!!! but....:(
First off this red dot is wonderful for the 365x. Mounting was trivial and it was literally presighted. My laser trainer and the red dot out of the box were literally on top of each other. The sight is tiny and looks great/matches the 365 frames. Fit great in my muddy river tactical holster with optic cut out. Co-witness is ok, you can barely see the top of the front sight, but enough to be useable. The x-ray glow of the 365 sights can be barely seen but is there. Now to the 1 star. It was scratched the first time I used it. The location of the button is impossible to access without smudging the back of the optic. I never cleaned it without anything that was not appropriate for the optic. They suggest alcohol and a q-tip but that is not practical given you need to clean it every time you need to access the button. It is also impossible to carry without getting lint on it, again needing to be cleaned. The biggest killer though, was the fact that sometimes the optic did not wake when shook. I pulled it from the holster a few times and the dot was not on and had to fiddle with it to get it back on. Given the less than optimal co-witness features I am not willing to overlook the uncertainty in wheither it is on or not. I really loved this optic and wanted it to work so much but it went back today. I will give the roemo zero 24 elite a shot. It is glass optic and a different electrical package that is hopefully more robust and reliable. ... show more

    • Great micro red dot
I bought this to go with my Sig P365X Macro. It mounted right on with no issues. I used a tiny bit of blue loktite on the screws, and after roughly 600 rounds of use, it hasn’t shifted a bit. The controls can be a bit of a pain due to their location, but just a minor inconvenience. The battery has held up well the past few months since I got it. Brightness adjustments are adequate even in direct Texas sunlight. The dot is small enough not to block out the target at 40 yards, but easy to pick up.
