I bought this to go with my Sig P365X Macro. It mounted right on with no issues. I used a tiny bit of blue loktite on the screws, and after roughly 600 rounds of use, it hasn’t shifted a bit. The controls can be a bit of a pain due to their location, but just a minor inconvenience. The battery has held up well the past few months since I got it. Brightness adjustments are adequate even in direct Texas sunlight. The dot is small enough not to block out the target at 40 yards, but easy to pick up. Awesome little red dot! It's the perfect size to continue using my P365X as my EDC without digging into my skin. It comes with a protective steel "cage" which overall doesn't add too much of an increase in size while giving me not only piece of mind for bumps and bangs, but allows for a more secure purchase on the slide. The cage does hang off the edges on the slide, but it's such a small amount that it doesn't create issue. The sight also has a built in rear sight so you can have a backup standard sight in conjunction with the front sight, in case your battery dies. Adjustment is simple and easily achieved. There is a rubberized button towards the inside of the glass that allows you to adjust the brightness to 8 different settings, or press and hold for 2 seconds to turn off the motion activation. Pros: -Easy to install -Feels sturdy -Allows for better purchase on slide -Motion activated -Built in rear sight for backup -Simple to adjust MOA and brightness -Still allows for concealed carry -Looks good Cons: -Have to remove sight from slide to change battery -Have to recenter dot after every battery change -Hangs off the edge of slide with or without protective "cage" -Have to purchase specific button cell batteries every now and then (wish it was rechargeable so I could just plug it in after my weekly clean) Overall: Awesome little red dot that enables an easier sight picture without compromising EDC capabilities. Edit: I'll leave the original review below, but this is a critical update that might help other idiots like myself: There's a small button on the inside of the shroud that resets the reticle, and adjusts the brightness. I mashed that little guy a couple times and we're back in business. Time will tell if this new battery (the old one was indeed dead) will last long enough to be trustworthy for a carry/nightstand weapon. I installed this on a p365, fired 39 shots, and left it in a vault for about a year. Took it out recently, no illumination- ok, battery must be dead, even though it hasn't moved this whole time and the auto-off feature would suggest total run-time is a couple hours, not the 20,000 Sig claims it'll last. Replaced the battery, nothing. No illumination, no obvious reasons for it not to be functioning. Contact terminals are clean, no sign of corrosion, rust, or other damage. I'm an unapologetic Sig fanboy but I could never recommend this optic for any redeeming qualities. ... show more

    • Excellent addition to my 365 XL
I highly recommend this product. This is a very good optic although the screen is not large the romeo zero works great and is very light and does not add appreciable weight to the 365 XL. The sight was easy to install set up and zero it has held zero. The dot does not wash out in good light but I have only used this at an indoor range. Under low light conditions it is excellent. The fit and finish of this sight matches my 365 XL perfectly, and if I did not install it myself I would have thought the 365 XL came with the sight from the factory. Time will tell if the Romeo zero is as robust as my RMRs which are great optics as I only have about 100 rounds with the Romeo zero on the 365 XL. I do agree that the on and off button is difficult to access if you have chubby fingers, maybe difficult even if your fingers aren't chubby. But the auto off (sleep mode) when the pistol is motionless and auto on when the firearm is picked up negates the reason to use the button. The 365 XL with the Romeo zero sight fits in my Desantis concealed carry holster I bought for use with the original iron sights. Positives: great fit and finish easy to install, easy to zero, holds zero, sight acquisition is faster than iron sights to get on target for follow-up shots. The romeo zero lengthens the effective range of the 365XL as the ability to acquire targets at distance is better and shots are more reproducible than with iron sights.
