This is the first time i tried this shampoo. I bought it because it was on sale and i always wanted to try it but not at full price just in case i didn't like it. This shampoo is the best shampoo I have ever tried so far in my life and I am 65. When i opened the boxed i was a little disappointed at the smaller size bottle. However, after using it the first time I had used my usual amount but I tell you I had used way too much. All you need is a little dot of shampoo and it makes so much clean light smelling suds. This shampoo makes my scalp feel so clean for long making it where i do not need to wash your hair everyday. Its remarkable !! My hair feels so light everyday. There is no heavy residue at all. I have tried so many so called best shampoos but they just went into the trash. I recommend this shampoo to my family and all my friends. I don’t care what people say, I’ve been using this shampoo for years and I love it. It’s so concentrated that this small bottle literally lasts me for 9 months on average, so even though it’s expensive, it’s sooo worth the price. It cleans my hair really well without being overly stripping or drying. My hair health has been great, even when I had bleached hair, it stayed quite healthy and long. Just make sure you’re using a moisturizing conditioner or hair mask with it since the protein can cause brittleness if not offset with some moisture, but it’s still great for your hair. ... show more

Pricey but worth it for my hair. I'm in my 50's and my hair has thinned out and become dry. I love this product: the smell is subtle and pretty, nothing overpowering. I try to limit my hair washing and this Olaplex makes my hair silky for a few days until it's time to repeat process.

I’ve been using Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo for a few months (based on the recommendation of my hair stylist), and the results have been great! It has completely eliminated frizz, leaving my hair soft, smooth, and with a beautiful shine. I don't usually need to use a conditioner. That said, it’s worth noting that this shampoo does contain a LOT of ingredients, which might be a concern for some. Hence the 4 stars. Although upon further research I read " OLAPLEX is colour-safe, vegan, PH balanced and completely free from cruelty, DEA, aldehydes, formaldehyde, silicone, parabens, sulphates, phosphates, gluten and nuts." While it has worked wonders for my hair, those who prefer all-natural products might want to look elsewhere. I rotate it with a more natural shampoo. It’s also definitely on the pricey side, but a little goes a long way—you only need a very small amount so the bottle lasts much longer than expected. For me, the results have been worth every penny, and I’ll keep buying it. If you’re looking for a product that can tackle frizz and leave your hair looking its best, this one is worth trying! ... show more

I started using the shampoo about 3 years ago. It was recommended to help keep your hair from fading between getting color. I was skeptical but when I went to see my hair stylist he commented about how my color lasted and not as muching fading. I was sold. I always recommend to my friends who color their hair. I love that it last a long time, it doesn't take but a little to shampoo. I also love the packaging because its not huge. I love the conditioner as well! ... show more
