The only product I’ve found that was effective for itchy irritated scalp was Nizoral, and that too is also on the drying side. I tried this on a whim because it had an interesting ingredient list and was inexpensive. I am so impressed I may even try the other products in the line. It’s not overly drying like most scalp care products but still lathers and cleans your hair nicely despite being sulfate free. Your hair is hydrated and shiny afterwards and your scalp is flake-free and doesn’t feel tight. The scent is also very subtle, unlike other Head and Shoulder products that smell like dish soap. This stuff is awesome. A few uses and my flaky skin and itchy scalp problem went away. Lathers well. Didn't dry out my hair. Smells fine. I paired it with Royal Oils conditioner for the most benefit. Highly recommended if you need a dandruff shampoo. It is much less expensive than the N_x_l brand I was using and makes wonderfully rich ruds very quickly. I am having to learn that it doesn't take as much product to do the job.
