It’s not overly drying like most scalp care products but still lathers and cleans your hair nicely despite being sulfate free. Your hair is hydrated and shiny afterwards and your scalp is flake-free and doesn’t feel tight. The scent is also very subtle, unlike other Head and Shoulder products that smell like dish soap. This stuff is awesome. A few uses and my flaky skin and itchy scalp problem went away. Lathers well. Didn't dry out my hair. Smells fine. I paired it with Royal Oils conditioner for the most benefit. Highly recommended if you need a dandruff shampoo. We are avid head and shoulders people. It's our daily. So I thought I would try this. It looked interesting. My hair feels great. Nice and soft. But ironically it makes my scalp itch. Does not my husband so obviously there's something in it that I'm sensitive to. Minus the itch, it's great stuff.
