I dye my hair and have extensions so having a good leave in is key. I typically use 'It's a 10 Miracle leave in conditioner'. I have for years because it's a really effective product. I loved the smell of their Bum Bum cream so I purchased the leave-in just to try it. It works so well. My hair is super healthy and it smells amazing. Love the scent of this product & it does make my hair soft. However, the first time I used this, I used way too much & it made my hair SO greasy. The next time I used it I used less product & it still made my hair greasy. I have medium thickness wavy hair & it takes a lot to make my hair greasy. After some trial & error, I saved this product for the last in my routine & made sure to brush before using it. I don’t spray it directly onto my hair, but instead, I spray some in my hands & then brush it through with my hands from the nape of my neck to the ends. I haven't found a product that works better for my and my three kiddos' hair. We all have baby fine hair that is easily weighed down, gets oily quickly, and also tangles A TON! This does an excellent job removing alllll the tangles from my kids' hair so that hair brushing isn't a traumatic event for all involved - my kids have a flair for the dramatic so brushing hair & teeth is honestly akin to attempting to catch a litter of slippery, borderline violent pigs. This doesn't weigh our hair down or make mine greasy/oily - and trust when I say that this single mama-teacher does her fair share of sweating and having tiny hands grabbing at my hair on the daily. The best is that it smells amazing AND does a great job at healing up the damage I inflict on it daily (daily washing, straightening iron coarsely yanked through my hair at 5:30am in an attempt to look somewhat human for school, & constant touching - hair up, hair down, hair half up, hair grabbed by ravioli-stained hands, etc. etc.). I saw that some people reported that it weighs their hair down or makes it oily, but as long as I only apply it to the ends of my hair (which is what they recommend) this product doesn't have that effect on my hair at all.     • Average product in a terrible spray bottle
It just didn't do enough for the price. I've used more expensive leave in conditioners that I didn't like either, so I don't believe that with hair care products you always get what you pay for. Sometimes things just don't work for your specific hair. This was one of those products. My hair is long, with loose curls, and a tendency to be a little dry and frizzy on the ends. I never found the sweet spot in terms of how much to apply to soften my ends without feeling like my hair was waxy, dull, and weighed down. The scent is pleasant and stays in your hair for a few days. It has a sweet musky smell, not fresh. While I prefer fresh, I still really enjoyed it. I think the scent would work for all genders. While the scent lasts, it's not overpowering. The spray bottle is unbelievably bad. I eventually started pouring it into my hands because it came out in glops and the bottle became misshapen. However, if the product was good, I'd see that as a small inconvenience because it could easily be transferred to a different bottle. I think it's just too thick to spray effectively. I used the entire bottle because it worked better than nothing at all. The leave in conditioner I had been using for the past twenty years was discontinued and after two years and many, many brands I haven't found a replacement I like as much. Unfortunately, my search will continue. I didn't like it, but it might work great for you if your hair tolerates "heavy" products. ... show more
