Takes a bit of force to get the leg rubbers in but this is a good shelf. It fits one 10 gallon facing forward with some space. I put mine side ways and got 3 tanks on each shelf with space to reach inside my tanks for maintiance. 40in is too tight for 2 front facing I probably should have got a longer shelf. But Im happy. Besides theres not way i taking this apart and returning it. Make note to pay attention to the rails when installing I at first installed rails upside down and though the shelfs were sagging but once i fixed the rails this thing held up nicely. I bought one of these units for my basement. After assembling it I liked it so much I bought another. Assembly is very easy and logical. The directions are clear in good English. Even without the written directions the pictures are all you need. The item was packaged very well. Plenty of corregated cardboard and packing between the shelves and other parts to prevent any scratching or damage during shipment. They evidently care about their product. It comes with all the tools needed. Just a small hammer and a pair of gloves. Nice touch. Nothing else to buy. We moved recently and I had plenty of boxes and big plastic bins on the floor in the basement. Each unit handled about 8 boxes. Some were quite heavy and the shelves seem to be ok. All in all, a quality product. (I especially liked the easy directions for assembly) ... show more
