I wanted to repair an old pair of sandals with these rubber soles but they were way to big, had to be cut, and didn't adhere well. Never again will I purchase these but i will go to the shoe repair shop instead.

I was able to glue these to the bottom of my "croc like" footwear that the treads were worn off and became slippery on wet surfaces. I used Marine adhesive and it has held well, I even wear them in the water and so far they are holding up well. No more slipping on wet surfaces.

Be prepared to cut them down a lot. We glued them to the bottoms of my elderly mother’s house slippers and she can stop the wheelchair with them! I’ve almost flipped her a couple of times. But her feet don’t slip out from under her anymore!!!! She has major traction.

I bought these to put on my steel toe shoes for work. They were supposed to already be slip resistant but they were far from it. So I bought these to try. They slip the same. As soon as I step in water and then onto a dry surface I slide. The shoes my work provided do not do that. The just aren't cushioning enough for a 12 hour shift so I bought a different pair. These were easy to cut with my scissors though. Just don't expect them to keep you from sliding after stepping in water because they do not do that.
