Crowded space and bad balance. 😔 And a lot of pain. Stepped on it by accident shortly after I got it. And it broke. I hadn't needed to use it and I didn't realize. Expensive mistake. 😣 Be careful. I was a little hesitant to order this, but so glad I did. It's huge, but comes in a nice carry bag with handles, so it's easy to put away when not in use. It looks very well made - no wonky seams or stitching anywhere that I can see. The best part is it WORKS. Nothing can match an actual massage therapist, but this comes pretty close (and you don't have to worry about somebody trying to upsell you a membership when you're finished with your session). I'm 5' 6", and I found the lower back massage to be a bit intense because it seems to press right on my tail bone, but using the included pad helps to buffer that - husband is 6' 3" and he says it's perfect for him, so it clearly depends on your height and where your parts lie on it. Heating pad is awesome - wish I had a way to take it off and use it separately as it's much better than the one I have. I've used it both on the floor and laying on my bed and found it equally comfortable/effective in both places. If you have a hard time getting down on the floor and/or back up again, I'd recommend using it on the bed or couch if you have one long enough. I sit at a desk all day and usually have a fair amount of tension in my upper back and this works it out nicely, so I plan on using it quite a bit. ... show more

    • Poorly designed. No heat without shiatsu on?

Original review below, updated 11/21/22: So I used this maybe 6 times since I got it a couple of months ago and today when I turn it on it works fine until I press the Heat button. Then the unit just shuts off. This is really a terrible quality item. Typically, one star reviews tend to result in a message from the seller offering some type of assistance but I have received nothing so I'm stuck with this very expensive broken product. --- You get a heating pad with this cushion. It's a separate item from the massage "mattress" as they call it and has its own power plug that plugs into the mattress and draws power from the mattress's wall plug. It's advertised as being able to be moved and used on any part of the body despite most images showing it under the legs. A reviewer of this product indicated that they could use the heating pad by itself. The point of the product is all the different modes so you can have only heat/massage on your back, legs, thighs, etc. But you can't. Unless the shiatsu massage is on, the Heat button will not work. But wait, most of the images show the heating pad under the person's legs so why would you need the shiatsu back massager on to use it? I have no idea. They are two completely separate parts of the product and if you need heat and vibration on your legs, you should not have to have the back massager turned on. That's just a terrible design. I thought I could lay on this and have either the shiatsu going, or if I needed heat on my back, or anywhere else, I could use it like a regular heating pad while having the desired section vibrating. It doesn't work. As soon as you turn off the shiatsu on the remote control, the Heat button no longer works. With the unit powered off, pressing the Heat button does nothing. This really limits the use of the heating pad and the heating pad is a huge part of why I purchased this item. ... show more

It does its job, you have to adjust your back physically up and down to get a full back massage. The rollers only start from the mid-shoulder line. The vibration is easy to control from the back, hip, thigh, and calf, but IT IS VERY LOUD. I don't you can fall asleep or even relax with that noise. It is like someone is vacuuming right next to you. If the product can improve those two points, this would be all money worth massager. It is very convenient to put on the bed, floor, and/or sofa. The media could not be loaded. My friend picked up one of these and I could not believe a mat that does everything this one does...so I had to try it out. I was not disappointed, first thing out of the box, is that this is very well made. Very well stitched, holds up perfectly to weight, and the massage heads hit the spots perfectly and very accurate too. The shiatsu rollers and variations of massage that can kneed ever so slightly to where I can really feel that massage. And let me tell you, I love a good massage that I can continue to feel, even after the massage, and this one hits home. The programs, vibration modes and heat all work perfectly and every single one feels different and so good. Another nice thing is the power cords, all are tucked and labeled and so safe and they never get in the way. Long power cord is nice too. Folds up easily, pads pop off for easy cleaning, and the heat matt is just awesome. I never thought to put stones on a matt like this where the heat displacement over the stones, feel so nice. I tried to find something that I didn't like about this one, and I just could not find a one, where I am very happy with the purchase. ... show more
