I bought this incase my power ever goes out in the winter. I tried it out and it puts out alot of heat. Gives me peace of mind knowing I can prevent my pipes from freezing if I ever need to use it. It's quiet and no huge.

Not sure WHY the bottom piece of this has to come in 2 parts to assemble but after taking out the screws and trying to re - screw them in - the screws don't go in to secure it at all and they don't hold the bottom piece ON. It's USELESS without that base on it cause it has no secure bottom to it to set on the ground. Guess I could turn it upside down but then can't get to the controls - what poor and shoddy assembly - on their part and maybe mine too but I can't get the dang thing to hold the base. Maybe if I had longer screws but they did NOT provide longer ones. And of course I've already thrown out the box it came in after looking for the screws and found them IN the base to take out and redo.....can't return it now without the box.....damn!!! WASTE OF MONEY - ... show more
