I have been through 2 litter robot 3s that were a constant maintenance problem. This thing is a fraction of the price of a litter robot, and is better. It does not take up as much space as the litter robot. It works more consistently. I had so many problems with the litter robot getting stuck or not working right. The setup was simple, and it’s incredibly quiet. The cleaning ability is fantastic, with excellent odor control—I don't smell a thing. My cat was initially scared, but after a few days of gradually transitioning her by placing her old box away and mimicking scratching in the new one, she started using it. The self-cleaning feature works well, resetting if she reenters before it starts. My only minor complaint is the litter area feels a bit cramped, but it still works great for my cat.
