The media could not be loaded. I just had to come brag on this automatic litter box. I did A LOT of research on so many different self-cleaning litter boxes offered on Amazon. In the end, I settled on this one, not only for the great price, but because there were no reports of any leaks. So many have that problem so that was the main thing I looked into on each model. I am so happy I chose this one! My cat absolutely loves it! He's a big guy--a fluffy 15lbs--but he fits great. Maintenance is so low on this model. We give it a quick wipe every couple days, and the app even alerts you when it's time to change the bag. We love getting the app notifications that he has used the litter box and that it has cleaned and sanitized itself with no issues. Knowing how often your cat is using the litter box is such a good health indicator, so this peace of mind makes this litter box worthwhile on its own. Now, all cat owners have to admit, no matter how often you scoop and change litter and clean--no matter how fancy the litter you use is (and we've tried them all)--there can still be a smell in the cat's room. With our manual litter box, it wasn't too bad; it did not permeate other areas of the house, and it was really only noticeable when you'd been gone from the house for a good while. (Of course, that means, guests can definitely smell it.) I am ecstatic to report there is NO scent since we go this self-cleaning litter box. We are able to use the litter he likes the best--just a regular clay litter--which also saves money. The convenience of just taking the bag, tying it up, and taking it straight to the trash outside cannot be understated. You can replace the bag in seconds and you're done. The refill bags are available on Amazon, reasonably priced, and we don't go through them all that fast anyway. We already had one, but it comes with the best kind of litter mat, and who couldn't use a new one! Set up and app set up was a breeze. We've been using it for 2 months now and have had zero issues. Our cat is so happy. In fact, sometimes he likes to sit and watch it clean itself. I wish I could add more than one video because this one doesn't show the full cleaning cycle, but I thought it was better to post the one of him inside. The barrel turns and drops the clumps into the bag inside a compartment, that's what you need to know. :) Especially if you have a cat who wants their box scooped every day or every time they use it, what are you waiting for!? I loved how little setup there was to this. It's basically ready to go out of the box, you just have to take all the extras out from inside the drum part and plug it in. It came with a bunch of goodies like extra trash bags and a litter scoop, which was nice. I've had it for about a month, and it's been working well. You can use the app to adjust settings like how long it waits after your cat uses it, which is cool. My cats were a little scared of it at first, but they warmed up to it eventually. It's great at reducing odor, too. One note - the little plastic grate at the entrance is very important, don't remove that! I tried it while I was introducing my cats to the box and it resulted in some litter and urine running down the front. With the grate in place, I haven't had these issues. It was easy to clean up, too - the drum part is completely removable, and you can wash that off without worry cause there's no electronics in it. There's only two potential issues I've noticed. First is that it's a little too small for really big cats. Anything up to 20 lbs should fit fine, but past that they're going to have to be ok with a tight fit. I have one large (29 lb) cat who still uses it, but I can tell it's a tight fit. Second, this box seems to work best with clay litter. I tried natural litter, but the clumps are a bit looser with most of those, and it didn't work as well. So, definitely recommend a tightly clumping litter for use in this box. However, that's been an issue with every robot litter box I've tried. Again, if you have smaller cats, this is probably less of an issue. ... show more

I HAAATE scooping litter so this was a huge upgrade from that chore. It is quiet as it sifts and rotates and drops litter clumps into a plastic bag that attaches at the top and I'm able to only deal with it weekly when I remove the full bag and replace it. I have 2 cats and weekly seems to be the maximum time to wait; if someone only has one cat, I imagine they could stretch out the bag replacement longer. My only issue is that sometimes the urine clumps remain at the bottom of the litter box basin and I have to scoop it out manually. It might be the type of litter I use so I plan to experiment with other brands. There's a setting on the app that allows you to set the length of time you want the urine to clump, so this too may help if I increase that time in order for the clumps to go through the cleaning cycle and not stick to the litter basin. The machine cycles often enough and deodorizes so that there's no smell! until it's ready to have the bag and litter replaced. My kitten is so fascinated by this that he runs to watch it do its thing, sometimes jumping in mid-cycle, and the sensor detects him and stops movement. I highly recommend this litter box for anyone who wants cat litter cleaning to be simplified and far less of an aggravating chore! ... show more
