works well, cleans after cat goes in and out. probably because im using sand, but clumps of hardened sand get stuck on the mat, just a disclaimer. even with the hose going out of the window, it stinks. the air around the whole litter box smells, still better than a regular one though. only one person can connect to it on the app, and you cant find it when trying to manually connect a device. was trying to find those deodorant things but couldnt find them anywhere, even when claiming the warranty. cat learned to use it pretty fast, just put some used litter in there. easy to clean, wish the garbage bags closed all the way on the sides so theres no chance for spillage when replacing. instructions are very easy to follow, love that they tell you how to clean dirty litter, how to clean all the litter, and that they lock the panel so you don't accidentally press a button. like title says, it works good and im glad i got it, but i wouldnt spend $300 on another one of these 8/20/24 edit: Toilet stopped cleaning. Keeps saying litter bin is full even with a new bag. I cleaned the sensors, pulled the bin out all the way, and tried with the app, but it wont clean the litter. Button works and will unlock the panel, but it wont clean. Have to keep plugging out then back in for it to finally clean, and even then I have to push the toilet cover forward a bit or it'll stop. Waste of money and so much hassle. 9/2/24: Toilet started cleaning automatically a few days ago. Not sure if because of my review or maybe there was a system error at that time. As a warning, they say it can hold litter for 12 days, but I DO NOT recommend! I tried to replace the bag today after a little over a week, and there were a bunch of tiny flies in the bin! If you're going on vacation or something, your cat should maybe be fine as there were no flies outside of the litter bin, but just be prepared for when you open it! Overall, waste of money, just buy a regular litter box it's so much easier and cheaper than having to deal with this stupid $300 litter box, flies, the smell, everything. Dont waste your money on something as useless and worthless as this. 9/13: toilet dies when it starts cleaning, unplugging an plugging back in doesnt work ... show more

I was excited to receive this product. Setup was really easy. I like that it comes with 2 grates. We use a pellet litter that wouldn’t go through the slotted grate. We changed it to the larger hole grate and the pellets went through with ease. I was impressed with how quiet the unit is. By using charcoal deodorizer packs, I haven’t had need to try the fan yet but I see how that could be useful if someone has multiple cats and high odors. We have two cats but high odor isn’t a problem for us. We leaned on the top of the unit and the error light went on and nothing would work. I tried everything I could think of…unplugged it, took the top off and reset the drum, moved it and reset the legs and nothing was working. Then we downloaded the app and were able to reset the unit using the app. We laughed. We haven’t had a problem since. The app is great and easy to use. I like how it tracks our cats usage, even letting us know by weight which cat is in. That was good to watch when they were just getting used to the unit and weren’t so sure of it. Now it is great for all of us. No more scooping litter is the best thing ever! ... show more

Overall, I’m satisfied with this product but there is room for improvement. Positives: Fairly easy to set up. It consists of 5 main pieces - base with fold out legs, internal cylinder, top cover, litter filter flap (2 different styles included to choose from based on type of litter you use) and bin. It also includes the power supply, 6 rolls of waste bags, and a nylon flap with adhesive Velcro that you apply to the front of the machine. I think the flap makes the machine look cheap and doesn’t help much. Short instructions and a QR code that links to instructional videos and warranty sign up are printed on the front panel of the top cover. The app is somewhat easy to use when it works as intended although there is room for improvement. The app allows for 3 cats to be added. It will then provide you with their weight along with time of entry and exit from machine. There is an optional air freshener that can be added for the exhaust to circulate the smell but there isn’t any information on where to purchase specifically for this machine. I rubberbanded a dryer sheet to the end of the exhaust hose and replace as needed. Visitors report no litter smells evident. With 4 cats, the waste bag needs to be changed every 2-4 days depending on their usage. When it notifies properly, there is a bin full notification to let you know to change the bag. As this doesn’t always work as intended, I check the container every couple of days. The machine doesn’t require the use of as much litter as traditional boxes but you do need to monitor how much is in the machine and add when needed. If you don’t add litter as it is used, you end up with a thick layer of pee filled sludge stuck to the bottom of the internal cylinder bottom. Overall, it cleans well using normal clumping litter. I like the Arm & Hammer Slide the best. Negatives - The bin full notification doesn’t always notify you until it’s failed to be able to empty several times. The app doesn’t always allow remote cleaning as it says a pet may have caused the machine to lock until the next pet uses the machine and it auto cleans. You are supposed to be able to use the front panel buttons to override and clean but it doesn’t always work. I usually need to unplug ang plug back up to run the cleaning cycle but that doesn’t reset the ability to use the app to run the clean cycle. The process to put in bags as instructed is faulty. Removing bags using the flip tab and pull method doesn’t really work. I open the bin and close like a regular pull string trash bag. The internal cylinder has a silicone or flexible vinyl material as the bottom that holds the litter for cat use. This is good for the auto cleaning but isn’t good for cats that like to dig before and after doing their business, which leaves scratch mark damage to the bottom. It also is easy to damage during cleaning if you rub too hard. If you set the auto clean to a time too fast after the cat finishes, you will have clumps of dirty litter stuck to the walls of the machine and to the litter filter flap. If you remove the top to add litter or place pressure on the top while the unit is plugged up, it often triggers the unit to believe an animal has entered but not left the machine. This causes the unit to cause the app clean ability to be locked out. There isn’t a step included nor a specific step made to use with this unit that’s available for purchase. You have to try and find one on your own if you have a cat that needs the assistance of a step. Lastly, the process required for adding individual pets to the app for it to properly report weight and usage is not very clear. ... show more
