I used this to stop drafts from our old doors. It was easy to install and works perfectly. I did not put over the magnets and after snugging the doors in I find it does not interfere with the doors staying shut

The gasket fit great and went on with little trouble , you just have to take pictures when you remove the old one or have a good memory of how it came off with the air wash and all. Mine was on a pellet stove. Works well now.

If you have a wood stove, air tight glass and door seals are important. I change them every year. The self-adhesive on this glass gasket makes the job easier.

When gasket heats up it’s smells really bad. Had to air out my house twice. Going to start the fire place up again and see if the smell burns off. It fits good, easy to install. Just the smell.

    • Not High Heat Glue (Terrible smell) but Excellent Customer Support

Not sure if it is just this unit or all, however, the chemical smell is terrible.. have run 3 separate fires and the smell is still so bad I had to vacate the room and completely air out the house. I tried contacting customer support and received no response. However I had contacted the seller directly via email and apparently there was an email issue. The seller was apparently trying to contact me back however emails were not getting through, they ultimately connected with me via Amazon. Learning for me is to use Amazon to contact a seller/manufacturer first. The seller offered me a replacement product with a higher glue temp however we were not able to make shipment of that replacement via Amazon work so the seller provided a FULL refund. Once we connected via Amazon, the seller/manufacturer was VERY supportive and communicative ! And this was after the Amazon return window had closed. So EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT !!! I have a Hearthstone Phoenix and thought they run standard temp fires. But unfortunately this product's glue is for lower temp applications. Too bad as the installation was easy and it definitely sealed the smoke in. Again, the Excellent Customer Support was very much appreciated ! ... show more
