This is a nice little lumbar support pillow, but I will state that it's quite thick and sturdy. My only issue with that is that it makes it hard to use with certain chairs - specifically those with smaller seats. This pillow makes it feel like you might get pushed off the edge of the chair very easily. It can be somewhat mitigated if you try to force it to be more flat when you first sit down, but that's an extra step that needs to be taken each time you sit down. ... show more

This Lumbar Support Pillow is too big for my office chair. It takes up half of the chair's seat leaving little to sit on. I do not have a barcalounger, sofa, nor love seat to test it on. It is also too big for my car seat. I would have to move the driver's seat back far enough so that the steering wheel is not in my stomach but then my feet would not reach the peddles. I do like how soft and squishy it is and if I ever get a recliner with a large enough seat, I believe this would work fine for me, but that is a long way away. Purchasing a desk chair during Covid.. it was a “blind buy” online by default.. and not the best way to buy a chair!! Keeping work from home arrangements post pandemic.. Our $250 chair is officially, our daily office space. Problem we have is lack of lumbar support- and this pillow stepped up. Perf. for a chair thats lost support or lacked it all along.. could even be used in a vehicle or set loosely behind one on a couch. Built-in strap has enough length/stretch to reach around most chairs and hold in place by secure clip. Can be used without strap as well- as fabric cover has a bit of grab. Cover easily can unzip to remove for washing.. a perk bc it does get a bit sweaty! No worry, it’s surprisingly easy to get back on. Cushion itself is firm memory foam.. as it warms it will give a little more but, expect firmness overall. Cushion has good recovery- after almost x3 weeks of daily use it hasn’t faltered to return its shape fully. Using for height of 5’10” it has plenty of height.. weight of adult is 190lb. with 35” waist and pillow has solid reach. Price is respectable for the quality- this has revived our blind purchase to help bring comfort and alleviate backache. Far better than replacing the new chair..!! Overall: Good, softer support for smaller backs. Price seems about right. I do like the extra height compared to other back pillows. The construction is decent. It unzips so you can wash the outer casing. The fabrics is soft and smooth to the touch. It is fairly soft, so the pressure the pillow applies on you back is evenly spread. It is comfortable. The strap is pretty good. It can stretch a full two feet from the pillow, allowing you to secure the pillow to most chairs you will use this on. You might even be able to strap this to a thinner recliner. This might be a bit small for anyone with greater than a 36” waist. Bigger folks might want to find a wider pillow. ... show more

I immediately placed this in my Jeep's drivers seat. The difference is noticeable. This made my long morning work drive so much more comfortable. I stepped out of the jeep after 90 minutes and had no aches or pains from sitting. So it does what it is supposed to do for me. For someone else or a different use this may be too soft. The media could not be loaded. The cushion is very thick. The cover comes off completely for easy washing. Because it's so thick, it takes up a lot of space on my inexpensive office chair, so initially I didn't like it. But it forces me to sit only with part of my thighs on the seat, and that's actually more comfortable than sitting all the way back. I appreciate the extra long loopy thing, I've bought several cushions that had verybshrt straps that wouldn't make it all the way around the chair's back. This back support pillow is much more substantial than I expected. At first I thought it might be a bit too much support but it actually feels quite nice on my back. I use it on a dining room chair and I'm surprised by how comfortable it is. It is VERY firm so if you're looking for something soft, you might not appreciate this one. But it turns out my back very much appreciates the firmness, which was a surprise to me since I initially thought softer would be better. ... show more

This thing is GREAT! I had a cheaper one I'd gotten a few years back that was not really getting the job done, so I jumped at this when I saw it. It's fantastic! It comes vacuum packed in a small box, so you'll need to open it and give it a bit of time to expand and breathe. But once it's ready to go, it's very supportive in all the right spots. The elastic bands are top notch -- on some cheaper pillows I find myself having to adjust the pillow a couple times throughout the day to keep it aligned correctly. I've been using this two weeks and haven't had it slip or twist on the chair once. I'll probably order one for the car as well! ... show more
