A good installation kit, didn’t have the right bolts for my radio. Once I got the bolts from my local hardware I had to put it together. The side pieces were a little hard to snap together. It works good and bolts up to the mound bolt hole.Looks good in the truck, with the radio installed.

I am not a stereo professional, but after messing with this I got it. U will need to break off multiple tabs and use what u need. The plastic was still filling half of a hole on side piece so u needed a little trim with a razor. After that 2 small screws and it's together. 4 more screws for the CD player and done. *******Note*** this will ** not ** work for the Bluetooth only stereos, there only like 3 inch deep and have no mounting side screws just the metal sleeve piece and there's no where to bend the tab things to. Being this kit covered many vehicles i knew id have to follow some directions about what tabs/hardware to remove for my application. All went well until fitting the radio into the trim. The trim was too narrow to fit the radio which is a very basic pioneer single din. I had to trim material off both sides on the inner edges to allow just enough space for the radio to slide in. Once I tackled that the rest was quick and easy. Not a bad product but expect to potentially have to modify a bit depending on your vehicle. ... show more

I guess the things I don't like have to do with the fact that you are having to cut away pieces of the install plates to fit your vehicle. The plastic is relatively tough, which is good, but you aren't going to just cut it away with a utility knife. You will want some sort of powered tool and a steady hand to keep the lines clean on the parts that are visible after install. I'm not sure what the company could do, but it is sort of annoying to have to either borrow or buy a tool to make a clean cut for a cheap plastic install kit. With that being said, once I made the cuts, it fit perfectly. Looked fine. The radio is in and secure. So with a little hassle, it did the job. I'd recommend it, just make sure you have some sort of dremel tool or other small bladed power tool to make the job faster and cleaner looking. A sharp razor tool could work, but if you make a mistake, well, it'll suck. ... show more

The frames have a bunch of tabs that need to be trimmed off completely for it to slide in easy. The package was missing some of the screws. The faceplate doesn't fit around the radio & doesn't attach very well to frame once installed. The cubby doesnt sit well in frame either even with screws.
