This treadmill is fantastic! Was super easy and fast to assemble (I"d recommend you have a helper to make the process smoother and faster). I like that its assembled weight is much less than other treadmills which makes it easier to move around should you need to. I found running and walking on it excellent. The belt moved smoothly and it had just enough cushioning to it that my back and knees thanked me for it. It's very solid and durable. I definitely recommend the CT400 for anyone interested in purchasing a self generated curved treadmill. I want to add that SB Fitness customer fitness is top notch!     • Challenging workout
The treadmill shipped fairly fast and was delivered with a scheduled FedEx delivery truck. The driver was kind enough to wheel it up our short driveway next to my garage. Packaging was excellent. No damaged or missing parts. The only parts to put together were the handlebars and the simple screen. My husband and I were able to carry the bottom inside together fairly easily and setup from there only took about 20 minutes. I have never used a manual treadmill before this one so I have nothing to compare it to. That said, this treadmill operates smoothly. It took a couple of workouts to get used to it before I could walk or jog without holding the handlebars. Right from the start, I noticed it was increasing my heart rate more than my electric treadmill so it's a much more challenging and worthwhile treadmill. It definitely works the calve muscles. So far the longest I've done is 2 miles. I used to walk/jog 3 miles daily on my electric treadmill so I'm hoping to work back up to that on this manual. The CT400 is very similar in width and length to my electric treadmill though I believe my electric treadmill is a thinner option on the market. I don't know that this manual treadmill is quieter than an electric treadmill. I don't pay attention to sound when I'm on it and no one else in my household uses it. I'm looking forward to being able to use the ct400 year round as I have it placed on my three season porch and live in the northern Midwest. All in all, it was a great purchase. ... show more

    • Solid Curved Treadmill
I have had this treadmill since May of 2023. It gets used several times a week by my wife and I. Having the ability to adjust the tension on the belt is amazing. You can definitely feel the difference and your heart pumping. You can run on the is treadmill but it is a bit harder to do so then a regular treadmill. The build quality is solid for the price and the shipment box was really well protected. My only suggestion is to take your time with the assembly and reach out to support if you have any questions regarding the belt. My belt was at the correct tension when it arrived. You should buy a phone and water bottle holder to mount on the bars. Don’t spend $5000-8000 on a manual treadmill. Give this a try, you won’t regret it for the price point. I am certain that mine will last at least another 10 years with use of 3 to 5 times a week by 2 adults. ... show more

    • A lot of price and not a lot of value
Ordering - easy. Assembly - pretty easy with reasonably clear directions. Quality - poor. Price - high for quality. Unit arrived missing one of the plastic feet for the rear peg. It also had powder-coating rubbed off on a couple of the slats. The center arm and workout timer support didn't fit well, and apparently had a problem in manufacture because one side (two holes) were bored out and re-tapped. Unfortunately, the manufacturer included only one of the larger bolts, but made sure to include the smaller, stripped bolts. The powder-coating was removed and not replaced in the process. The seller refunded $300, which is awesome; however, the overall quality of the unit and my sense of its longevity the few times I've used it is poor. It doesn't work smoothly and the slats give so much that I'm afraid that it's going to quickly come apart. I don't recommend this product at that high a price. ... show more

    • Glad to be able to have a motor less treadmill that will last longer
The screw holes didn’t easily line up without some effort - both on the main handlebars and the front U-shaped bar. One screw stripped and won’t completely tighten, but other than that it went together finally and I’m glad to be able to use it. The only other thing I wonder is the calorie counter. After a 30 minute walk/run interval workout, it says I only burned about 60 calories. My Apple Watch says 311 calories…. Somewhere in the middle is the truth but I’m curious as to what governs the calorie counter on the treadmill display. ... show more
