Sawgrass Virtuoso systems are the industry’s first and only fully integrated desktop solution designed specifically for sublimation. The perfect printer for hobbyists or moonlighter, the SG500 fits comfortably on a desktop and prints media up to 8.5" x 14". Or expand the max media size to 8.5" x 51" with the bypass tray. The SG500 has been updated inside out from its predecessor, the SG400. The SG500 is backwards-compatible with all SG400 accessories. Like all Sawgrass printers, the SG500 performs its own automatic maintenance cycle for trouble-free printing. Decorate a wide variety of products made from polyester fabrics or polymer-coated rigid media including: Aluminum Panels and Inserts, Hardboard and Wood Plaques, Tile, Mugs, Acrylic, Glass, Slate, Polyester Fabric, and Reinforced Fiberglass Plastic. Textiles need to be 65%+ polyester, can not sublimate onto dark fabrics. Make sure to use sublimation blanks when transferring to hard goods

Not happy with sawgrass at all. I did not receive the ink with my printer, it was supposed to be included in the package. Sawgrass customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Not happy with the product as I can not get print manager to connect, therefore printing with the $650 printer is impossible, unless you want to print trash images thru your phone. I will admit, the first 24 hours it worked, I was so happy! Now I want to throw it out my 2nd story window. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled the printer, drivers, etc multiple times with zero success. Do yourself a favor and buy the epson. You'll thank me later. ... show more

Ink is very expensive for the printer. The cartridges came new in the package, put them in they were all low. It says it should be 20ml each color. You’re likely getting 2 ml. Says it on both my printer and print mate. Low ink. I’ve refreshed , reset , all of that good stuff. Sent bad ink. And the blanks are crappy maybe only one thing is actually useful to sublimate on and it doesn’t com with any instructions that actually help with the printer besides how to plug it in. Everything ok bad as soon as you charge the ink the alert ⚠️ mark low and it's not fair. It is too much that you pay for replacing the ink even when you are not using for the very first time.
