When I pulled it out of the box, I was pretty disappointed in the size and thickness. But using it changed my mind. It’s the perfect thickness and very comfortable for back and side sleeping on top of your regular pillow.

I put it on top of my normal pillow and it does it’s job. The quality (100% polyester) is the only thing that I’m not totally convinced of. For what it is it’s way to expensive in my opinion. But, the shape is helpful and it’s good for traveling as well. UPDATE: I just returned from travels, double checked if the pillow can be washed in a machine. Put it in the delicate programme with other delicate stuff, cold wash, after some minutes returning to the washing machine and arrive at a scene of HORROR. The stitching has opened and 3/4 of the filling came out. It’s EVERYWHERE. All over the washing machine, all over the other pieces that were in the machine. It took me now an HOUR to remove it with my hands out of the machine and from all other items. Not to mention that it was impossible to fully remove it, so I also have to clean the filter of the washing machine now and the whole floor. How on earth can that happen?!? I want my money back and am more than disappointed. That is absolutely unacceptable. ... show more

I’ve had this pillow for five years, and I can say for sure it works to prevent marionette/nasolabial fold lines. I know this because when I’ve stopped using the pillow, as a fervent side sleeper, the lines begin to appear within a few days. And when I start using the pillow again, within a few days, the lines fade away. It’s pretty great! The only cons are it takes a bit of time to get used to sleeping on, and can be slightly uncomfortable for the neck. However, I have neck pain regardless of which pillow I use— this one just makes it (maybe) slightly worse, but can be helped by morning stretching. For me, the pros of this pillow are worth it over any cons. Another benefit of the pillow is for my breathing. The space it creates between my cheeks and the base pillow not only prevents wrinkles, but it also allows for more airflow into my nostrils, because they aren’t being compressed. I’ve used this pillow both with and without a pillowcase (I just use a normal sized pillowcase). The pillow is smaller than the case, but it doesn’t matters. A satin case is good for extra smoothness. Overall, I recommend this pillow if you’re okay with a little adjustment time, and you want to prevent or improve side-sleeping induced nasolabial wrinkles. ... show more

When I saw this pillow, I thought what a great idea. If you use fillers in your face, and you want to be careful that your face doesn’t squished or get it for another reason that you would want your face to be sort of suspended and not crushed by your regular bed pillow. When I got this pillow I was so excited but I knew right away it was way too flat. I tried it out by putting it on top of my bed pillow which is what you’re supposed to do and it was so flat that my face hit the pillow below it, so it defeated the whole purpose. So what I did was…I took a razor blade and sliced open the seam and added stuffing to the whole pillow and really bulked it up and sewed it back up! Now it’s perfect!!! I was skeptical of this product based on reviews. I am glad I got the smaller (cheaper) one that you put on top of your pillow. It’s the perfect size. I use it with a down pillow that can get pretty flat. I used to wake up with lines all over my face but now I don’t. I wake up with less pain because my neck is supported and no lines on my face. My skin also feels better in the morning, probably from the products not wiping off on the pillow. I was disappointed it wasn’t a removable pillow case but then I read you can just throw it in the wash and it washed so easily that I was no longer disappointed. ... show more
