I’ll admit that I was skeptical about this pillow and was really turned off by the price for something so tiny, but wow does it make a difference. You should know that the La Petite pillow is indeed petite, however, it is making a huge difference for me. When laying on my back, it offers excellent neck support that i didn’t realize I was missing. When sleeping on my side, I find that I can breathe better, and my face is indeed cradled. It took a few tries to find the sweet spot, but once I did, I was very comfortable. I put this on top of my Coop pillow, which I love. I think it will likely have to be replaced once or twice a year if used nightly since it is so small, but I’ll be happy to do so if it keeps my face from getting squished. I will also add that I recently got a couple of new ear piercings and this is also great for being able to sleep comfortably on my side while the piercings heal. My ear is suspended and therefore isn’t pressed against the pillow to cause discomfort. ... show more

Last night was my first night sleeping with this so *disclaimer* I don’t have a ton of experience with this product. However - I was so impressed that I wanted to write a review. It looks uncomfortable to sleep on but it’s actually ergonomic so it’s not! It laid on my pillow and I was actually comfortable sleeping on just this pillow atop my mattress. I prefer a lower / mushy pillow anyways so this wasn’t a big change for me. I thankfully didn’t wake up with any neck or upper back pain from sleeping wonky though! I’ll be ordering a second for travel as I see this being a new staple in my home. Oh! And I’m going to show my esthetician today as I think it’s perfect for people that week after cheek filler is injected (IYKYK). Also I think this will prolong my lash extensions! This has to be a bad joke. I can’t believe what they are charging for this ridiculous pillow. I mean it’s stuffed with like filling you buy at Walmart. I don’t think I’ve ever bought a product that was so grossly overpriced and such low quality as this one. It doesn’t work either. It’s so thin it just flattens out when you sleep. ... show more

    • Hurts my ear, but does the job

Update Aug 2022: I still use this, but I also realized that using my airplane neck pillow works just as well. Had I thought to try that first before spending the money on this, I would have done so. Plus it's softer than this and doesn't hurt my ear. I still use it, but interchange between it and the travel neck pillow. I bought this back in Sept and have used it every night for 2 months. I'm a side sleeper and wanted to avoid adding more wrinkles to my face (mouth and eye areas). I'm 54 yrs old, and 5'4". It's a bit too small to really use by itself, but I have done it. Mostly though, I use it on top of my regular pillow, and it does really keep my face from smushing into the pillow below. So in that respect, it does the job. My biggest complaint is it really kills my ear. It occludes it to the point that when I move my head, my ear canal pops, like when you stick your finger in your ear and then remove it and you get that pop. Not a big deal, but I wish it were softer. BUT, if it were softer, then it wouldn't do its job and keep my face from getting smushed. Sigh LOL So I tend to use it off and on during the night. When I wake up, if my ear hurts, I remove it and sleep on my regular pillow that has a silk pillow case. When I wake up again, I'll flip it down and put it back on my pillow and use it again. It's small enough that I can just flip it up to rest against my headboard until I'm ready to use it again. Is it worth close to $60? No. Would I buy it again at that price? No, due to my ear issue. If it didn't kill my ear, then I might change that answer as it does keep my face from getting smashed....But I missed the return window so I will keep using it, and it will hopefully help my face in the long run. ... show more

I recently had a facelift, and as a side sleeper I wanted to protect against sleep wrinkles. I ordered another pillow that was supposed to keep you on your back, but it was very uncomfortable. I prefer using my favorite cervical pillow. This small pillow sits right on top of it and does what it's supposed to do. Well worth the money to protect my other "investment". ... show more

I use the save my face petite pillow with my blue wave ultra slim pillow, & they work perfect together. I used the la grande save my face before & it was too thick to use on top of a pillow, but it was also too thin to use alone. I love the petite version combined with my ultra thin pillow.

This is the second pillow I have purchased. The first one I accidentally left at the hotel we were staying at and it was not turned in… hmmm. I believe someone in housekeeping is enjoying my pillow! I like that it is small enough to travel with, and prevents pillow lines on my face.
