Converted a full size Antique headboard and footboard to a queen by replacing siderails with a metal frame - attaching with offset brackets to each end of the bed to the original headboard and footboard. Worked beautifully and was solid - the mattress set was fully supported by the metal frame ( 4 legs and center support leg) But no one trusted to sleep on it because the headboard wobbled a bit. I got new queen and king mattresses. There is a gap from end of mattress and foot board of bed. This fit perfectly to fill the gap. It’s good quality. Just make sure you have the right length, width, and depth that you want. I have 71x6x4 for king and 54x6x4 for queen. I probably could’ve gone a little deeper, but they fit perfectly . You want them snug. It was a little more expensive than I wanted to spend, but I couldn't find anything else like it to fill the gap. The fabric covering the foam is good quality. Pros: Works great for filling the gap between the mattress and wall. Sturdy enough to work with minimal support underneath (still needs some) Cons: Had a bit of a smell when it first showed up. Took a couple hours to mostly go away, and is now gone a few weeks later. You can overpower the smell in the short term if desired. Foam is fairly firm, so not the best to lay on. Definitely do not expect to get a larger size and cram it into place to make it work. Go with one of the sizes that will definitely fit (< size of gap to fill). ... show more

My bed frame is about 8” longer than my eastern king mattress, which not only made it look terrible, but also made the gap somewhat of a hazard. This pad filled that gap perfectly and made the bed more stable, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. It’s slightly shorter in height than my mattress, but a perfect foundation for one of those pillow headboards. Now, gadgets are no longer falling behind the bed, and little furry legs are no longer in danger of falling through a gap. I imagine one of these would work well for small children’s beds/cribs too. It’s kind of expensive for what it is, but it’s solid, well made and solved a problem in an easier and more affordable way than buying a longer mattress or shorter frame. ... show more
