For the price, these are great! I love how sharp the tip is so you can get so precise when trimming. I use this in my garden to trim herbs and these are perfect for that. They are sharp so you have to be careful not to poke yourself if you put them in your pocket or something. Why would you put them in your pocket you ask? Well, these are on the small side. Pocket-sized you might say. Sometimes I'll grab them along with other tools and throw them in my jacket pocket when I don't have hands. Even though they are small, they feel good in the hands and are easy to use. Be careful when cleaning them. You MUST dry them completely with a towel because they do rust. I've accidentally left some on a towel to dry, and they completely rusted and I had to toss them. They aren't expensive so it's not a big deal, but if you don't feel like replacing them all the time just make sure they are bone dry after cleaning. 1-star knock off because they are so greasy when they arrive. The inside of the packaging is greasy, and covered in oil. I've re-ordered these a few times already and all of them have this issue. Not sure if the oil is supposed to help them with trimming better, but it's just a little gross. I have to wipe them down before using them so they don't contaminate my herbs. ... show more

I bought these for pruning herbs and plants in the garden and for small projects where full sized scissors are cumbersome. They're quite sharp and very light. They're also inexpensive enough that if you lose a pair you're not going to stress over the cost. Would 100% recommend.

    • No Quality Control & Very sharp tips

Received the order yesterday. 2 important first observations: 1- One pair out of 5 was completely misaligned. The sharp edges, both, were bent. I tried to use pliers to bend them back. one edge broke right away and had to dump that pair. I realize they are dirt cheap. But, where is the pride when they inspect and pack them? 2- The included plastic sleeves are for transportation purpose. Very flimsy. You must keep these pruners/scissors in a metal box with a lid. The tips are super sharp. When I was trying a pair to nip some dead leaves (small inside plants) I accidentally hit my wrist. A lot of bleeding! Pls do not throw them in your junk drawer. Keep them in a small box. Your fingers will appreciate you. ... show more

I was given a small bonsai plant that needed delicate trimming. I found these simple but elegant plant scissors in a 5-pack for only $6,rather than a single for $4. They work really well for small cuts in tight places. Make sure that they are stored dry as they invite rust, being made of steel.
