These are great trimmers, very sharp and easy on hands. They clean up so well just wiping off with alcohol swabs. So good to have a few pairs ready so no having to stop and clean them when they need it, drop the dirty pair into a glass of ISO and grab a fresh pair!     • Not very durable but good for the price

For the price, these are great if you need something cheap that cuts through tiny leaves and stems. I can't complain about the value if that's all you need. If you want something that lasts I wouldn't recommend these. I bought 2 which turns out was a good idea since the handle cracked on the first one after dropping it on concrete. The construction on the handle feels every bit as cheap as it is. It's held together by a small spring and once it cracks, the entire plastic sleeve slides off and it's garbage after that. With the second one I now know to treat these as fragile if you want them to last. Don't store them in direct sun, don't drop them on hard surfaces, only cut things you can also tear with your hands but want to do so more delicately. Despite that, cheap and it works. Just know what you're getting and its limitations and it's fine. I expect at some point the handles will break if I use it enough regardless. Blades are fine though. ... show more

Be careful as the blades are extremely sharp and the blade tips can nick you. At the Bonsai store near me similar pruners are very expensive.     • Not the best for trimming plants
These work ok for pruning but not for trimming. They aren't that great if you're going to be using them often and need good precision. If it's all you can afford, they'll get the job done, but I recommend going with something of higher quality.
