Learned the hard way have to wear gloves to put them on the sticks. They have a super tiny edge thats impossible to just hold onto without touching the sticky part. That is why I gave 4 stars. They have caught quite a few flying bugs (mosquito, gnat, etc.) Would probably buy again.

I tried cheaper versions, but they were trash. These are the ONLY ones I’ve found that actually get rid of those annoying little fungus gnats in my plants. They’re almost all gone, and it’s only been two days (but keep in mind, the gnats’ life cycle is like a month). These things are SO sticky. My dog accidentally brushed her tail against one, and it ripped off so much fur (no worries, she didn’t feel it). So basically I guess once you’ve gotten rid of your gnats, you can use the leftovers for a bikini wax lol Edit: My only complaint, which they say they’re working on, is that I’d like to be able to just buy refills of the stickies. I’m commenting on 2 things. #1 aesthetics and #2 functionality #1. So initially I thought this would look ugly in my potted plants. However you can make it not ugly. So rather then stacking/assembling the “stems” high. I don’t stack them at all and simply apply the “leaves” or sticky traps to the single tier stem to the pot, suuuuper close to the soil so that half of the trap is hidden by the pot and the top half of the pot is hidden by my plant leaf! I should preface that this is for my bigger pot peace lilly. I haven’t used this for my smaller potted plants yet. I’m sure I can do the same and still keep my home looking good whilst removing fungus gnats! #2 functionality - ok, I expected this to work on day 1. I saw nothing on the traps. I installed a total of 2 yellow sticky “leaves” per the trap stem. So I had a total of 4 sticky leaves. I saw no bugs on them the next day. I thought I was ripped off and that this was a waste of money and time. I had my hopes up, expecting flies to just be sooo attracted immediately. On the 2nd day I saw like 3 little flies. On the third day, HOLY COW. There were like a TON of gnats. So be patient, they will definitely come around once they see their dead friends hanging out on there and others will too join (; I also bought this same brand’s fly light trap. I suggest that too! I put it in my kitchen for fruit flies and it does wonders! Again, be patient and you’ll see how much flies you don’t realize you have in your home! ... show more
