This is the perfect size safe foe our closet. It thought it was going to be heavy, but it is very light weight. It comes with adhesive feet and bolts to secure it to your wall/shelf if you choose to do so. It comes with padding for any delicate items and also has a shelf, which is removable. The programing instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I was able to program both codes very easily. I like that it it comes with a key and external battery source incase the batteries in the unit die between uses. This safe provides an easy, quick solution to storing a few valuables and to have them easily accessible. I have used the safety bags in the past. They are nice but they don't hold bulky items well like a firearm. If you are a renter, college student or have roommates this is a nice way to secure your belongings. Some of the features I appreciate are: It is very lightweight. I was able to pick it up and manuveur it without any issue. If I decide to relocate it, I shouldn't have any issue. Sometimes a safe can be too heavy to move. That is great in a robbery, but not so great if you need to move it. There are multiple ways to open the safe. The instructions were simple to follow. It can be bolted if you choose. I am certain it will give you a better sense of security if you have it safely bolted. It has the ability to be opened with a key. This is necessary for someone who forgets codes. This additional method provides a good backup measure to ensure you can get into the safe. Some of the features I wish were different are: The door knob doesn't feel sturdy. It is not firesafe. This safe is very lightweight. There is a battery-operated coded lock and back-up physical keys. This has a removable interior shelf but only came with one plastic bolt to secure it to the inside bracket (so one side was loose). It can be mounted to the wall or floor and some hardware was included, but lacked instructions on how mount it. It seems more like a safe you'd find in a hotel room than one I'd use in my home to store valuables. I laughed when I picked the box up from my porch because it was so light. I think it could easily be cut into by a determined thief and if not secured really well to a wall, putting my valuables inside really just feels like I would be putting together a convenient package for thieves. This is basic and may work well for some, maybe in an office to keep private documents, but would not for true valuables at home. I returned it because I knew I wouldn't use it. ... show more
