    • Good saw, flimsy stand
I have a 25-year old Ryobi portable saw. The motor finally burned out and is no longer available. This replacement is simpler, but the top and motor seem to function as needed. The stand is not so good and I am looking at ways to mount the saw base to the old, simple, sturdy stand with wheels and a tool for wrapping the cord. Ryobi cut a few too many corners in making the stand for a lower price. ... show more

The stand is somewhat worthless. You have to remove it and install it every time you need it.

    • Too much plastic
This saw is NOT worth the money. There is too much plastic that breaks, the dust control doesn't fit anything! Save up a little more moey and buy something begtter.

When I opened my saw I noticed the stand had a small bend...unfortunately it was on one of the four corners that holds the saw in place...I sent the seller a message and the fixed the problem quickly and with a customer focused attitude...what appeared to be a slight problem...was no problem at all... ... show more
