My only complaint with this unit is that it does not have a depth stop - something for which I had a need on a small saw. Then I recieved and tried it out.... it is now found itself in my everyday pack out and is probably one of my favorite buys when it comes to powertools that I lug around from job to job... Love this saw it's very handy for 2x6 - 1x2 cutting.. only thing it can't do is large crown or wide base and 2 by 6 is about its biggest dimensional lumber I use it for so very useful. Was getting tired of lugging my 12" Dewalt mitre and stand around. It seemed like most of my jobs became trim work, moldings, and cabinet repair. I was already equipped with an arsenal of high amp Dewalt batteries from my other saws so I took the leap. I can't believe how small and light this saw is while working like a monster cutting everything I throw at it. I was worried about its capability to cut larger molding vertically but it's notched out at the fence to allow for taller material. Matched with the smaller lighter stand this thing has saved my back and hardly takes up any room in the bed of the truck. And... no more cords. Pinch me I must be dreaming. ... show more

So far I love this saw. Of course it’s not for bigger crown molding. Can’t cut 4” material standing up right. But the Dewalt dependability is there and it’s great for smaller trim jobs and kitchen remodeling. Runs forever on a 4amp battery, but recently I got a 60 volt battery and it’s great. Degree stops are accurate and dependable. Great value for the money ... show more
