I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered this. But when it arrived, and I put the blade in and made the first cut, I was in love. This is a great little saw. It’s very light and easy to use for several hours without getting too tired in your wrist and hands. it struggled a bit with oak but I just let the blade do the work and it cut well. My old circular saw is too heavy and bulky for me to use these days. This Ryobi is lightweight and handles easily. I also like the portability of it being battery-operated instead of corded.

Great little saw. Sturdy, has all the typically blade adjustments, & comes with a blade out of the box. Good for general construction, just know that it's not super powerful. Can cut 2x4s no issue and doesn't slow down, but doesn't have a tremendous kick back if the blade binds.

This is a compact tool. Easy to control. Lightweight. I already have a few batteries and a charger, so the 'tool only' was great deal. Just what I needed for my small projects around the house. Ripped through a 1.5" x 1.5" piece of maple and the 1/2" particle board I worked with over the weekend. It cleaned up nicely with a few moments with compressed air.
