You have a button and a locking switch at the very bottom back of the scooter that is difficult for those of us with back issues to get to it. I have to use my toe or my cane. The 4 wheels apart makes it hard for turns. Plus, there are 3 steps before you can go. I like the fold but I use my ZiiRobot one more than this one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is the best one so far. This is our fourth scooter, and it works better than all of them. And the footprint after it folds up is phenomenally small it fits in the trunk of a car. It’s transportable on a plane on a cruise ship or just about anywhere. As soon as we wear the third unit out, we’re going to buy another one of these or the newer version when it comes out. **** Update just we returned from a trip to Bermuda with Carnival Cruise Line’s. This item worked beautifully! We were on a seven day cruise and my wife used it the entire time from the time we got out of the car till the time we got back in the car. I can’t say that it was flawless because they’re worth some small issues. One of the issues being in the middle of loading into an elevator. The unit became unmovable until I removed the battery. Reset the system reinstalled the battery then it would move. It was the only time that I had a major issue of any kind with it. Other than that, the turning radius is a little tighter than what we would like. But overall performance was very good. You may want to consider getting an extra battery though. While touring the Royal docks in Bermuda and going to the museum, the hill that you have to climb to the top of the prisoners area. Took nearly half the battery down after only a half an hour drive it lasted. However, if you were to take longer than an eight or nine hour tour around the city, you would need a second battery or a way to charge while you’re in the city. the website states that the scooter have lights, there are no lights there are places cut out for lights. There are no front or back lights. However, the scooter is very light and easy to put assembly.
