These things are bright, yet DOT compliant with a crisp cut out. Installed on a 2008 f750. They work well in the rain, allowing us to see the road well enough in advance to react in time driving a heavier vehicle. Given the cut out, I never have anyone flashing their brights at me, so I know they are courteous on incoming driver's eyes. They are robust and appear very well made. I have another set in my f650 and have for the last year without issues. I wouldn't be surprised if they lasted another 2 years or longer. They appear to have the quality to last. They even come with a couple extra wiring harnesses and plugs incase you need to replace your old ones, or convert them over to this style. They were plug-and-play. Plug and play, as they say, on my 2001 Ford E350 Super Duty. The only difficult part was getting the old rusty screws out, I doubt they've ever been changed. The new units are lightweight and fitted perfectly and they're considerably brighter and very considerably whiter than the original units and at this price, I wish I'd changed them out sooner.
