  • Do NOT trust the airlines
Scent: Model1
I love mine. I took it on a cruise. If you are disabled, do not be bullied by TSA or security crews. That said, the scooter is awesome. One airlines after promising me it would be in the jetway, had NO jetway. We deplaned on the tarmac and this airlines had made no arrangements. I collapsed on the long walk to the terminal. Only to find my scooter laying on its tiller on the conveyer belt. The mud guards were bent and one was missing a fastener. This is NOT a problem with the scooter which is very sturdy, the airlines is paying for one I order today. This is a warning to scooter using travelers such as myself. I live in the US but not all international airports are like the US, so be clear about your needs. Refuse to walk further than you can, a lesson I learned collapsing alone with a 12 year old who was terrified. But THIS scooter is airline/TSA approved and it was light enough for me, at 70, to get into and out of the car on my own. ... show more

  • Ok
Scent: Model1
There is no suspension on the tires so you are going to bounce around a lot. The brake lock does not lock the brakes. The handle bar doesn't go flat unless the battery is off the scooter. The seat does not go up by itself you have to pull the red knob to lock it. The seat is not high enough to put big items in the basket. When turning left and right it turns a short distance it turns better to the right than left. So it's hard maneuvering in short places. It is light but there is no handles to pick up and place in car. Other than that good for smooth roads and big areas ... show more

  • Fits some of my needs.
Scent: Model1
This scooter is good for hard, smooth surfaces. There is no suspension and the tires are solid (not pneumatic). Avoid bumpy surfaces - I have to get off of it to go up an abrupt one inch concrete rise of my driveway from the street. Also, the ground clearance is minimal. I got stuck going over a 3 inch grass surface. That said, it is very good for smooth, hard surfaces such as you will have indoors in most places. Its compact size also makes it easy to get in and out of elevators. It weighs less than 70 pounds total. The price is relatively low so that helps balance out some of the shortcomings. ... show more

  • Great simplified design and frame though very poor in power and customer support
Scent: Model1
*** BEWARE OF AMAZON & SELLER UNFAIRLY CHARGING RESTOCKING FEES although product arrived with several defects *** We still like this product overall and understand its poor performance given the single motor with low output leading to very poor climbing ability, even over minor/normal carpet obstacles (this may be a big deal for someone with certain reduced physical mobility). We like many of its features, the aluminum frame appears constructed very well, many nicely integrated extrusions. Unfortunately, given insufficient packaging and internal spacing, the unit arrived with the following damages (externally the box has no signs of crushing, thus all caused by internal pressures): -- the motor side, right rear, housing came with cracked support boss to the brakes, hence that side does not work -- the small wheels on the "wheelie bar" are cracked and axles bent, which also warped/elongated the frame mounting holes -- the captive nuts that hold the battery rail fell out upon receipt and need repair; the frame is great though, just wrong nuts used. The manufacturer should use nuts that are rivet-clenched type instead of the broach-style they provided Forced to return because customer service support was not responding or offering replacement parts; 3 weeks later we finally received some attention (including a gracious shipping label) but even that attention came with continued delay and resistance over 3-5 days. ... show more

  • NICE GIFT FOR GIVING AT CHRISTMAS!!!
Scent: Model1
A fast mobility scooter. You can control the speed. Turning radius is limited. It's gets the job done. I'm planning to take this scooter on my international trip this winter, and I HOPE TSA does not give me a hard time.
