First, note that this bag will fit the ball and *two* pairs of shoes in side pockets on each side of the ball, along with having a storage pocket in front. So it's very accommodating for more than just the ball and one pair of shoes. I wish the ball could be put in while the top handles were velcroed, but that's a minor inconvenience.
