I went into my freshman year of college during the 2020-2021 school year. Normally with planners, I have a difficult time keeping organized and sticking to the planner, because they are not engaging enough or too engaging for me to want to continue using it. However, this planner is plain and simple, but there are boxes you can check off when you have completed a task, which I love. It kept me motivated to write down everything I had to do. I never missed an assignment while using this. I have ADHD, which means it can be difficult to stick to things for a long time, which includes planning out my activities. However, I had no issues keeping this up, and I actually was able to plan my weeks the Friday before. Though I only used this planner for assignments, this is perfect for job deadlines, doctor's appointments, job schedules, or other activities. I highly recommend this planner for anybody. For each day, there are plenty of places to write, which is perfect for the overwhelmed college student who gets assigned 10 assignments on the daily. This thing has space for all of that. The paper is nice and sturdy, but it isn't thick. It does bleed, but not much. It is really only noticeable when using colors like black and red, but it does not interrupt the writing on the other side of the page. The only thing about it is the cover got warped about halfway through the schoolyear and I have no idea how it happened, nor was I able to flatten it out, but if you can get past it, it is a simple, sleek, and effective planner. Best $10 I spent for school this last year. I'll be using this planner for the rest of college. I love looking back at it too and seeing what I accomplished over the last year. It really did make everything worth it, especially when I wrote it down. **A little dirty on the front because this thing survived a few too many chemistry labs too. Pretty durable ... show more

    • Great planner, FULL year, Smart layout and design without a lot of the fluff in other planners.

Sturdiness: 4/5 - It's a notebook. The ring binding feels relatively sturdy. Pages are thick and stronger than normal paper. Again, its a notebook. Sturdiness is an odd metric to rate for this. Durability: 4/5 - See above. Value for money: 4/5 - Decently priced planner that met all the requirements I wanted without a bunch of the stuff I didn't want. Overall: 4/5 - Given the metrics Amazon is rating for this notebook are kind of odd, let me just mention some of the nice things about this notebook. I use this planner everyday as a way to keep myself accountable and use the daily sections WITH the checkmark boxes, to list off daily tasks I want to complete. Having the checkboxes at the end of each line are a nice and simple feature that many other planners do not have. It feels nice and is mentally rewarding habit wise, to be able to physically check something off. It also does not contain a bunch of other fluff pages. It's a full year planner, (Many that I looked up only included 6 months for some reason..). It has a few pages for contacts, and a few at the end of the book that I'm using for annual goals, but outside of that its a 2page Grid view of the month and then a few pages each for the month broken down by weeks, with room to add several notes day to day. TL;DR: A compact planner that will leave most customers happy that do *not* care for sturdiness or paper thickness but do care about simplicity and compactness. PROS + paper whiteness: No yellow or brown tint. Just a very subtle grey-ish tint. + compact size: For its proportions, it is a fairly versatile planner that will satisfy most needs. It easily fits in any backpack and moderately/large-sized purses. + simplicity: The layout is well-structured. It is easy to find notes very fast. CONS - sturdiness: The plastic cover pages are too flexible to guarantee survivability when thrown into a backpack on a daily basis. - flimsy paper: Even under moderate light, the pages become almost see-through. Surprisingly, however, the paper absorbs ink efficiently without diffusing it and handles pressure well without imprinting the page below too much. - miniature monthly calendar: - no bookmark: There are no tactile features that allow navigating the planer more efficiently (e.g. a bookmark thread). VALUE Fairly unspectacular value for paying 10 USD or more. An abundance of cheaper/equally-priced alternatives of equal value is available on Amazon and your nearby office supply store. ... show more
