Just got it, set it up, and mounted it. Seems to have 0 issues. My guess it all the negative reviews are caused by user error, especially the fingerprint complaints. So far the fingerprint seems to have a higher success rate than my phone

Very simple clean design. This safe is very easy to setup (both code and finger print [biometric]). Also easy to mount. Works mounted both vertical and horizontal. This safe can save multiple fingerprints (up tp 20). Quality: Seems very sturdy and high build quality. Biometric finger reader: easy to setup and had 0 issues with testing over 50 times. Light: internal light to help see inside when opening at night. Mounting: came with mounting hardware and instructions. Other Features: Can turn off the "beep" sound. Holds 1 pistol and 1 extra magazine (or small flashlight). Instructions: Thoruogh and easy to understand. Batteries: 4 AAA and backup key Had no problems with: Glock 19 & 17, 1911 5" barrel, Ruger 357. iron sight and red dot not a problem and can be removed quickly without issue. Glock 34 (overall length 8.74") barely fit. With red dot you need to remove it carefully. The fingerprint reader can read you finger at any angle which is a plus if you are under pressure. Idk what it is but I can’t get the thing to register a thumb. All my other fingers work but my thumb won’t register. Every other aspect of the product is amazing. Quality is great. Install and setup was easy. Works quickly and efficiently it just doesn’t like my thumbs.

    • Fingerprint reader is not reliable, but it does keep the gun secured.
I gave up on the fingerprint feature. It doesn’t work well. The keypad is easy to use and if properly installed, it is very secure.
