  • Finally, a way to harness the air from your rower
This product gets an enthusiastic 5 stars from me. If you have a model of Concept2 rower that this fits, you should buy this. To be honest, I don't think you should have to purchase this for your Conept2 rower at all; I think it should have come standard with the machine. While I love my pandemic rower, I've always seen it as a major fault that you're blowing air into the room, potentially stirring up dust from the corners of it, and in the meantime you're sitting there sweating, wishing that there was a really good place on this machine to clip a fan. In the summer, I would sit there rowing and daydreaming about how nice it would be if I could sit beside this rower and someone else would row and send all that air my way. Now I can get the exercise and the benefit of my own breeze at the same time. You don't need to pull the handles very fast to get a beautiful, strong gust of air directed right at you. It also means I am not using electricity and worrying about running a cord out to the rower for a fan. My two biggest disappointments about this product are 1) the air flow can be adjusted, but it's going to mainly hit the right side of your body (unless you're better at redirecting it than I am) since the wheel is on that side of the rower 2) (OCD-side here) I can't fit it exactly perfectly along the mesh, covering all the mesh and nothing but the mesh, since the connectors for the sides of the flywheel mess up the line of the mesh 4 times along the length of this fan bag. It's annoying in an OCDish sort of way but of virtually no consequence in relation to the benefits of this product. When I first saw this product, I had to figure out what model of rower I had. According to the Concept2 website, if you have one of their rowers made in 1994 or later, you're good (apart from their very different Dynamic model where the flywheel is under the seat). I'm attaching a screenshot from Concept2's website which shows the different models they have made. Instructions could have been a bit better, but there aren't many parts to this fan bag and you could probably guess what to do even without instructions. It takes a bit of work to try to get the bag covering the mesh neatly, but it will (more or less) get there eventually. Even if it's not quite where you'd like it to be visually, it will still be functional. Since it's essentially a fabric pouch, I haven't had trouble putting Concept2's cover over the rower with this still attached. I just try to be a bit careful so that I don't strain the ties on the fan bag since they're likely the weak points of this product. ... show more

  • Easy to install and update concept 2
I set this up on my Concept 2 and it works great.... except it only really hits the right side of my body as is. The ties feel a bit sketchy, so I used some extra string I had lying around so that they don't get messed up. I sewed a little bit of extra fabric to the opening to get it to shift the airflow a little closer to my face, and it feels great (but can dry out your eyes if you like watching stuff or playing games while rowing, so modifications aren't for everyone. Great product, but a little worried about longevity. ... show more

  • Straps fell apart
First off, this is a ripoff of the Cbreeze. Secondly, it's a poor quality ripoff. Several of the straps fell off during the install, rendering it kind of useless. Go buy the real thing!
