Size: 1.4" wide
Upon receiving some free crescent roll dough I was faced with a dilemma of a 1st world proportion. Do I spread butter over my dough with a knife or do I melt the butter and brush it over the freshly thawed crescent dough? Well, this dilemma brought me to my amazon purchase of the 1.4-Inch Rosle Pastry Brush. I'll be honest, I was a little insecure about using such a utensil. I was raised in a fairly misogynistic household and the thought of a man using a brush to properly prepare his pastries would've been a massive masculine faux pas. Truth be told, after I used the brush, my fears were immediately lifted and the evenness with which I was able to disperse the melted butter over my crescents was well worth the price. Bravo Rosle. • Well thought-through tool from Rösle
Size: 1.4" wide
This brush replaces a Rösle brush of 14 (!!!) years which actually did not break but the bristles got burned. I love Rösle tools because they are well designed, practical and durable. This brush is no exception!

  • Excellent Product
Size: 1.4" wide
I bought my Mother a Rosle Garlic Press. She was so pleased, I ended up buying one for myself. After using it, I decided to buy other Rosle products, like the pastry brush. This pastry brush is just as amazing as all the other Rosle products I have purchased. The bristles dont come out, and it cleans up very nicely. Rosle's having such good quality products, keeps me purchasing, not only for myself, but for others. The pastry brush also makes a wonderful gift. ... show more

  • Not as good as I expected from Rosle...
Size: 1.8" wide
I love the brush and the size is great for buttering french/garlic bread. Sadly, after using it only a few times the plastic around the bristles cracked and it became unusable. I ordered another one and will see if this one lasts longer.

  • Finally a pastry brush that doesn't lose its bristles!
Size: 1.4" wide
I have had two other small pastry brushes that both lost their bristles when washed. This little lovely has held up wonderfully so far, so I am pleased. The brush works great and is a nice, small size for brushing melted butter on to biscuits or on top of my pies. It cleans up easily and does not retain any stains or odors. I am very pleased with this product! ... show more

  • Quality gone down the drain!
Size: 1" wide
I've bought these brushes int he past and have been very happy with them. They're more expensive than most of the competition, but they've lasted a long time, and the bristles have stayed intact. Not this time! They're still just as expensive, but literally the first time I used them I ended up throwing away what I made as it was full of brush bristles. Yuck! I've been a loyal Rosle user for about 3 decades, but this experience is making me look at other brands. ... show more

  • Excellent pastry brush.

I use this for working with Phyllo dough.

  • This Brush Lasts
Size: 1.4" wide
I've always had difficulty maintaining bristle brushes used for cooking. Despite best efforts, they would invariably get a greasy residue and become ineffective. The silicone brushes don't do the same job, although they're useful for limited tasks. This brush washes up easily and stays clean.
