To counteract the bad reviews, It's never had a bad smell, a bad noise, and never shuts off randomly. It shuts off if it's being picked up or puched over/ unbalanced. I could just be getting "lucky" but this is my experience. I first bought this for the sunroom during the colder months and used it for a total of about 7 months. It fell and broke but was still working. I used it for the rest of that winter season and only tossed it because I figured it was unsafe, but everything would still work (even auto shut off). I got another one after moving houses where not much heat gets to the rooms and it works just as well as the first one I got in the past. ... show more

I love this for my camper because the propane heater that comes with it is so LOUD. This one is quiet and works so quick to heat a small space. I even bought another one for my home to use in a room that doesn't heat adequately. Love it!

    • Quality Matches the Price
For a little machine it heats up very quickly which is nice, but after reading the directions I still don't completely know how to use it. There is a thermostat knob on the left and a "fan" knob on the right. On the fan knob, there is a roman numeral 1 and a roman numeral 2 along with the fan icon and the off icon. I know how to use the fan and off icon but the roman numerals confuse me. In the directions, it does not explain what those symbols mean. After trying out both roman numeral settings I decided roman numeral 1 meant hot and roman numeral 2 meant hotter, which is weird since they are on the fan knob on the right (as said in the instructions). I have yet to make the thermostat knob change temperature but it is the only way I have found to turn the heating aspect of the heater off. This being said even though I'm still not sure if I'm using it right or how it is intended to be used it does its job. I keep it under my desk and it heats up my feet. The roman numeral 1 setting is what I always keep it on because roman numeral 2 is too hot. But in that setting, it heats up fast and blows the hot air out. I bought it because my feet and legs get cold when I'm doing homework and this heater did the trick. You also pretty much can't beat the price. This heater also has a safety feature and will turn off if it falls over. I have never needed to use this feature since I leave it under my desk where it can't really get knocked over, but If you had this out in the open the feature would a=be necessary because the front gets very very very hot especially when on roman numeral 2. Overall it's pretty much exactly what I expected for the price, and it does serve its purpose. ... show more

I use two of these to assist with heating my family’s 36’ travel trailer. With one in the bunkhouse and the other in the living area these heaters work well in tandem with my furnace to keep my family nice and warm!
