PRO: I needed a roof rack to carry rolling carts when I go to flea markets and other local sales since I have a tendency to fill the cars loadspace, leaving no room for our rolling carts for the drive back to our warehouse. This rack is spacious enough to fit the rolling carts and a lot more and the cargo net holds it all in place. The rack features strong welds at each cross piece and it was very easy to assemble it and position it on the car roof. CON: although the rack was carefully wrapped and padded in the package, it came out of the box damaged. As the photos show, there were scratches through the paint to the bare metal on parts that were covered with foam padding. The “C” section of the rack was bent and did not match up with the rest of the rack. Since I really needed this rack, I didn’t want to return it and just touched up the scratched parts with black spray paint and flattened the curve with a small sledge. For this reason, I,took away a star rating and gave it only four stars. Although the repairs were easy to do, I shouldn’t have had to fix a brand new item. I still would recommend this rack as a well designed tool, but believe the company needs to improve its quality control. ... show more

This Roof Rack Carrier Basket was a lifesaver during my recent cross-country move. The installation was easy—took me about 15 minutes, and I was ready to load it up. I was a bit concerned about whether it would hold everything securely, especially with the variety of terrain and speeds I’d be dealing with, but those worries were quickly put to rest. I packed this thing to the brim with all sorts of items, and it handled everything like a champ. Whether I was flying down the highway at high speeds or crawling through city traffic with frequent stops and turns, the basket stayed rock-solid. I didn’t notice any wobbling or shifting, even during sharp turns. It really gave me peace of mind knowing that my belongings were safe and secure. The construction is impressive too. The rust-proof steel is incredibly sturdy, and I can tell this basket is built to last. It’s going to be a key part of my setup for any future road trips or moves. The only minor downside is that it does create a bit of wind noise when driving at higher speeds, but that’s something I can live with considering how much utility it provides.
